Blessed be the LORD my Rock, who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle

Psalm 144: 1

Those who make The Lord their Rock will be trained by Him for all sorts of battles. The Most High sees well in advance the devil’s plans aimed at attacking His flock and that’s the reason why He capacitates us to act in His Name. There’s nothing to be frightened about because whatever The Lord does shall prosper; after all, He’s God and perfect. Those who learn how to fight along with Him will never lose any battle at all.

Those who neither feel any delight in reading The Bible daily nor do they attend services at church on a regular basis are like naughty students who play truant and, on the examination day, they find themselves in despair. Now those who let themselves be taught by The Spirit of God will be well-trained to overcome all battles to be fought. Just like those men and women who learned their lesson with The Lord in the past and came out victorious, those people who are being trained by Him today shall also be successful.

It’s utterly important to examine what ground you’re standing on. Do not set foot on any earthly foundation but do stand upon the Solid Foundation – The Lord. Those who live their lives based on religious teachings will realise they’ve acted as foolish people, those who built up their houses on sand; then, when the rain descended, the floods came and the winds blew and beat on those houses; and they fell. (Matthew 7: 26, 27).

Only The Most High is capable of training our hands for war. Those who learn their lessons from another source – a strange one – will find out that their training was completely pointless considering that against The Truth no power can ever prevail. The only and true God is well aware of the enemy’s capacity – including its minor details. Yet, as we keep being instructed by The Omniscient we’ll never be reached nor will we ever suffer any defeat or pain however small.

Something else which cheers us greatly is to know that our spiritual fingers are trained by The One who can do all things. Nevertheless, I don’t know how many fingers we’ll need to use to abort all the plans of the enemy against us. In the journey of Jesus here on earth He said that He only had to use the finger of God to defeat the devil, expel demons, heal the sick and perform massive wonders (Luke 11: 20).

Those who are instructed by The Omnipotent will never fear any of the enemy’s assaults; they’ll go into the battlefield well aware that they’ll come out victorious. Therefore, don’t fail to follow God’s instructions concerning the next step to take because you can do all things in Him. Being obedient to The Lord you’ll fight the good fight then you’ll finish your career off and you’ll keep your faith (II Timothy 4: 7).

Those who fear will ultimately be harmed because fear causes people to be delivered right into the devil’s hands and – on account of their being under the devil’s dominion – our Father won’t be able to help them. You need to learn the lessons of God to you and surrender your whole life to Him; thus, whenever you find yourself in trouble you must not hesitate to keep on fighting. Go to the battlefield being absolutely certain that the giant will fall.
