Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Romans 6: 4

Those who are tormented by sin actually face many hindrances and troubles on a daily basis; and they must take an attitude to change that scenario. God’s work is completely out of reach of men’s understanding – we were buried along with Jesus through baptism of death. Christ’s resurrection from the dead was the most glorious occurrence ever. He left Satan behind, eternally defeated, left in the land of the dead. The Son of God left that dreadful place triumphantly for us to be able to walk differently.

He who falls in transgression and now doesn’t find peace in his life ends up suffering some disease, he has financial issues and he’s usually affected by other sorts of evil; therefore, he needs to take action right away. At this very moment the devil’s being victorious over his life and he’s determined to ruin it forever. To change that dull scenario: the person must enter the presence of God, confess his errors and believe in the fact that The Lord is faithful and righteous to forgive, to heal, to deliver and grant him whatever he needs (I John 1: 9).

The Word of God states that the Most High’s work will never be fully understood by men: He buried men along with Jesus through baptism of death. That means that you not only died for those unworthy issues but it means that you’ve also been buried never to exhale a stench. The atrocities the devil could cause to your life he can no longer cause them. Your nightmares are gone for good! So, enjoy your spiritual journey in Christ!

At the resurrection of Christ you were also raised along with Him (Romans 6: 8). Now that you’re well aware of that fact you must remember that your blessing is just a matter of understanding the nature of that reality and a matter of determination. You only have to put an end to the enemy’s treachery against your life and he will no longer torment you. Your time to weep, your suffering and your oppression is history now! You’ve been tested and approved and now you’re free! 

As Jesus was raised from the dead He defeated Satan in the land of the dead and that’s why The Lord knows very well that He needn’t defeat the devil any longer. So, do the same! You’re been resurrected along with The Son of God! Don’t diminish the wonders The Most High did in your favour. He helped you to overcome temptation so you wouldn’t satisfy the whims of the devil any longer. The divine gifts are irrevocable and those already given to you by Him are indeed yours.

The fact of The Lord’s coming out of the land of the dead was quite magnificent, amazing, a region in which sin, diseases and troubled minds are at large. He did so for you to walk in newness of life. You can enjoy your new life now! A life full of holiness, health and prosperity! And that’s what I call life!

So, walk differently and as a witness of Jesus your behaviour is to invite people to wish for it as well, to wish for the same blessing. You weren’t called to be religious but to be a living letter of The Lord (II Corinthians 3: 3). May people read in you the love of God!
