03/02/2016 - WHAT DOES THE DEVIL HAVE IN YOU

I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming, and he has nothing in Me.  John 14:30

Today, God speaks through the Scriptures and by the move of the Holy Spirit, who teaches us all things. The good He did to us when our salvation was accomplished, is much greater than we can understand, for, through such work, we are His children and heirs, and co-heirs with Jesus. We take part in this beautiful plan since the beginning, and when our life here on Earth comes to an end, we will live besides Jesus forever. 

The Lord´s voice is still the same when of creation; imperative, mandatory and powerful to solve any disturbing or embarrassing situation. We were created by it, in it and for it; therefore, man is only fulfilled when he accepts Jesus as Lord of his life. Then, when he opens the door of his house – his heart -, the Master begins to show the path to happiness. Thus, this also happens to us, when we receive Him as Savior. 

When the ruler of this world came near Jesus, the Lord Jesus had to speak less than He would like, for He would still have to undo the evil work accomplished in Eden. Christ obtained 100% success, for He stripped off the authority that the old serpent had taken from man. The Lord, who has power in Heaven and on Earth, still gave us a proxy, by saying that everything we determined in His Name He would do (John 14:13). 

Today, He talks to us at all times, just as much we can bear, and He teaches us to walk in accordance to His Word. What we learn in the Holy Book is the plain truth, and with every information we receive, we disconnect ourselves from the evil forces and we begin to have communion with the Father. The teachings we receive from the Most High are like a map for us to occupy our place in Him. 

The devil had absolutely nothing in Jesus, but he would like to have Him in his hands so that the work of redemption was not fulfilled. The enemy did not know that the Son of God would undo all lie spread by him, when he fooled Adam and Eve. Soon, he would lose the power he stripped off man, and with that, all captivity would be taken captive, and men would receive gifts (Ephesians 4:8). 

All that had to be done for us to be rescued from the hands of Satan was accomplished. Due to this plan, we are completely and eternally free from any evil, in all areas of our life. We cannot remain in his hands, for, with the Lord in us, we have the consuming fire (Hebrews 12:29). If the evil one tries to touch us, he will be struck with this fire and he will not withstand it. 

Therefore, rise up as a son of God and make use of your rights in Christ. Do not submit yourself to the dominion of evil, for you are a “land” that has been set free. Today, only Jesus has authority, for He defeated the enemy, and thus, he silenced the filthy arguments of this despicable being. Live your freedom in Him who bought you back!
