I called to the LORD, who is worthy of praise, and I have been saved from my enemies. Psalm 18:3

Those who are saved have at their disposal the power to call on the name of the Lord, therefore, being free of all the evil that oppresses them. Even though God dwells in those who have him as their Lord and Savior, He makes it necessary for them to call His name to defeat the enemy. Those who only wait for the Father to help or do something for them haven’t learned that we are the ones that fight the war, under the divine direction.

The Lord’s name is an effective weapon that we always need to take with us. No demon can resist those who use the power of His name. When we use the name of Jesus with faith, we will see the divine power working in our favor; with that, the work belongs to the All Mighty. The authority of God is in His name, and, when we use it, it is like God is personally working on it. 

When using the name of Jesus, use it with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your strength. Otherwise, the enemy will not obey and will continue to bother you. The order must be given with precision and determination, like the Lord Himself did. He ordered the deaf and blind spirits that dominated the boy in Mark 9, ordering them to leave and never come back; for that reason, the demon obeyed the Master’s order

The best moment to rebuke the evil that bothers you is when you are in fellowship with the Lord, or when you feel it´s the right moment to act. The Word says that the wise know the time and procedure (Ec 8:5). Therefore, don’t joke about praying and rebuking evil. Many times, a demon may look foolish, but the truth is that he is acting as if he was, because he surely knows how to keep oppressing his victims.

By making use of the name of Jesus, consider everything done. One of the five steps to receive your blessing, according to what Jesus taught in Mark 11,22,23; we have to believe that what we say will be done. If we don’t believe that our orders will be obeyed, the enemy will start ignoring the orders because he knows that soon you will give up on all your determinations.

God will begin to work once you give your order, if acted on what Jesus said in John 14:13. When we use the name of Jesus with faith, the Savior guarantees He will do the work so that the Father will be glorified by the Son. There always needs to have a bigger purpose in what you ask, aside from the release of suffering, the cure and any other kind of blessing: the Father needs to be glorified in the Son. 

David, the psalmist, king of Israel, proved innumerous times, that this Name was worthy of praise. All who are saved can and should prove this; that way, we could teach with more convictions, showing how they will succeed using the Name. The name of the Lord is the secret to victory.
