22/04/2016 - WHAT IT TOOK FOR THAT WOMAN TO BE HEALED

“Be of good cheer, daughter; your faith has made you well.” And the woman was made well from that hour.    Matthew 9:22

The healing of the hemorrhagic woman has a lot to teach us, for, when she heard about Jesus, she received the right instructions to that which she had to do. No matter how hard the journey had been, God took her to His Son. He will do the same with all those that pay attention and decide to seek Jesus. There is no persecution that makes man or woman of faith to stop or change route because they know that in Christ they have that which is necessary to make them happy. 

That woman followed the orientations she received strictly and therefore she could not return empty. May all those who have been taught wake up to this fact and decide to follow the voice of the good Shepherd! Although there are many voices calling us at all times, we only want to listen to the voice of the One who gave His life for the sheep and did not coward when going to the cross and dying for them. Those who do not give in to any threat will be greatly blessed. 

It is sad when a person comes to our services and we are not in full fellowship with the Lord, but we are somewhat careless. Although they do what is necessary, the power does not come out from us, because it is not in us. Therefore, Christians must always be consecrated and ready to execute the work properly. Now, if the power is not in us, this shows that we will not go up with Christ on His return. 

Gideon paid attention to the words of the prophet and he felt strengthened. Even after three months had gone by, he still had not lost that revelation; that is why the angel said that she would be Gideon´s strength. Who knows, maybe other people also received this same word, but they had others things to do or maybe they were cowards? May this never happen to you for your sentence will certainly be severe. 

The woman had felt that the flow of blood had ceased, but she needed to hear from the Master´s lips that her faith had healed her; thus, she was truly healed. Seek to listen from the Lord about your spiritual condition, and if you don’t feel the peace of being prepared for eternal life, seek a pastor and ask for help. You must not be irresponsible and live like you are not going to die or as if Jesus’ return is not a reality.  

To heal you of an infirmity is not all God wants to do in your life. Actually, without complete salvation, including the forgiveness of sins, the new birth and the baptism of the Holy Spirit, you can continue in the hands of the devil, and then, when you die, you will go to perdition. The work of Christ on Calvary doesn’t need to be improved or redone; however, you need to understand it and prepare yourself for His return. 

Seek to listen to the Word that counts, for it will deliver you completely from the action of the enemy and evil will not have any place in your life. If your faith is firm in the Lord, you will overcome any disease, persecution, slander and all else Hell sends against you. Prepare yourself!
