21/09/2014 - WHAT LEADS THE WICKED INTO DECEIPT

For he flatters himself in his own eyes, when he finds out his iniquity and when he hates. Psalm 36.2

A wicked person thinks he is special and believes that his true intentions will never be discovered. The crook does not know that his greatest mistake is to think that everyone (except him) is a fool. It is true that not everyone will discover his sin, but the wicked even thinks that the Lord God, who is omniscient (knows and sees all things), will not be able to see his transgression. I really pity him! How can he be deceived by the devil in such way?

He is deceived by his own eyes, for in them he flatters himself. And since his eyes are evil, his entire body will also be evil. He boasts, regarding himself as the world’s smartest person, thinking that his evil works make him superior to others. Anyone who is under the enemy’s control is spiritually blind and unable to see that he is walking the wrong path.

When a wicked person compares himself to us, his eyes make him feel superior. He even says that he pities those who serve God, because, according to him, they are giving up the pleasures of life. He considers himself very accomplished, and believes that he does not lack anything. However, he steps from error to error, without realizing that he is headed to his own destruction.

There are moments in which he stops and thinks: “I really need to change.” But the fact that it is so easy for him to get what he wants (which, by the way, comes from Satan) prevents him from making the right decision. If he goes to a funeral, where we see the end of every human being, a wicked person may think straight for some time and even say to himself that he will definitely change. But soon he goes back to his world of wickedness and forgets about his promise.

It can only be that the devil controls the heart of the wicked, because he does not act like a good person. He is able to seduce someone’s daughter, but if another wicked person does the same to his daughter, he gets angry and makes threats or becomes violent. And he acts in the same manner in relation to business matters and promises that he makes. Without a doubt, the devil is the one in control of the wicked.

A person who does wicked things is going through a swirl that leads to evil. Over time he will feel that what he used to do in the beginning is no longer exciting, so he starts seeking even more evil things. The heart of the wicked knows no act of mercy, compassion or love.

Like I always say, the further away you keep yourself from anyone who does wicked things, the better off you will be. Even if you are honest and have this person as a friend, the spirit that controls him will try to persuade you to do the same things that he does, things that you would never do without him. Sad is the end of a person who strays from God’s path to walk down the path of wickedness.

In Christ, with love,

Dear God, once again we have seen what lies in the heart of the wicked, where there is only iniquity. The greatest wickedness that comes from him is to deny that you are the Creator of all things, and not to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior, thus rejecting the path to salvation.

Many people are walking the path of unrighteousness. These are people who, while they are alive, will spread their wickedness everywhere, and when they are dead, they will regret everything that they did while alive. But why is it that people act in this manner? Why would anyone plant bad seeds?

We know that the best thing in life is to serve you, walk with you, and not fall into the temptations of the devil. Those who allow themselves to be fooled by Satan’s lies almost always end up suffering a lot in this life. And happiness, which is your gift, Lord, to those who serve you, remains far away from the wicked.
