The LORD is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation.

Psalm 118:14

Salvation is of unimaginable importance. Once we are saved we are freed from the dark forces and we start having the Lord as our Strength because then we are reconnected with the Creator and do not walk alone anymore. He who is in Christ is a new creature and can ask whatever he wants and it shall be given to him. God’s servants have rights and privileges in Christ, which they never thought they would have.

When you are born into God’s family, God Himself becomes your light, your understanding and your salvation; in which case you can state that you have no more fear. If God is the strength of your life, who or what will you fear? Therefore, the true Christian does not fear any battle, knowing that in Christ he is more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37). What do you do before an onslaught of the enemy that wants to put you to shame?

The minute you were saved, the Lord came into your life and freed you from the dominion of darkness. But He did not do just that: He also conveyed you into the kingdom of the Son of His love. Therefore, the devil cannot reach you nor make you suffer the evils he brings. If the evil one still punishes you as he sees fit, it is time you stand up and take a stand against him.

Because of the salvation we achieve by accepting Jesus as Savior, there is no reproof against us for there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1) provided, however, we do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit (verse 4). Let God’s Spirit guide you and then start walking according to what He speaks to your spirit.

To be saved means to be justified. It is as if we had never done anything wrong. Thus, we can walk with the Lord and be in fellowship with Him without feeling unworthy. By cleaning our “record” we do not owe the devil anything. All this was done by our Lord Jesus Christ. There is nothing more to fear because now we belong to God.

Once you receive Jesus as your Savior, you are saved and receive eternal life; therefore, you shall not perish. Furthermore, no one will take you away from Jesus’ hands. Christians should be very positive in their faith and avoid being misled or being afraid of the threats of the enemy for he will not be able to separate you from the love of Christ (Romans 8:38-39).

With salvation you get to be baptized in the Holy Spirit, which is when the strength of the Lord starts dwelling in your life. From then on, there will be no lack of inspiration, direction or power for you to exert your rights. People who follow the guidance of the Spirit of God will never lose a single battle.

In Christ with Love,
