Then the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, and gave them a command for the children of Israel and for Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt. Exodus 6:13

The Lord never stops talking to us if we truly obey Him. Moses could not address the children of Israel by himself, but only through the Word of God. If we speak to our relatives or any other person with the aim to evangelize them, to transmit the divine message, they will listen. However, if we speak only what we think, that will be vain and there will be no positive outcome.

Remember that due to Adam’s sin, man lost contact with God. Thus, we cannot speak to God or hear God unless if we learn through the Word and pray by faith. However, since we live in a deceptive world, we are not always connected to God. Furthermore, our thoughts and ways are not always the same as His.

What God had said was a commandment to Moses and the leaders of the Israelite families, who were supposed to bring the Israelites out of Egypt. They needed to seek Pharaoh and speak what God had ordered them. Thus, they would see who was the man that was reigning over them. Sometimes Christians rebel because of what happens to them, and speak without measuring the gravity of the situation. Then, when they face a series of troubles, they blame the Lord for their misfortune. Well, He is perfect!

As we understand the will of the Father and have communion with Him, the divine work is fulfilled in our lives. Jesus said that if we are in Him and His words are in us, we may ask – determine – whatever we want, and it will be done to us (John 15:7). The Israelite leaders had to learn that the work would happen as God had planned, because that was the only way it could work. If you are doubtful, you may hinder the work of the Almighty.

Those who were called by the Lord formed a group and addressed the powerful leader of Egypt, in order to ask him to let the Israelites leave in peace. God knew that Pharaoh wouldn’t listen to them, but it was necessary that it was registered that that leader had the opportunity to act correctly with the children of Jacob. Never rebel against the divine decisions, for there is no other way for things to work, except through the way He teaches us. Be humble and believe in God!

The Most High knew what He was doing and what He would do. However, it was necessary for Pharaoh to be reduced to nothing; otherwise, he would not set the Israelites free. God knew that the leader of Egypt was actually worse than what people thought of him. So, if he were not afflicted, he would do evil to the Israelites after they were set free. Whoever acts outside of the divine guidance will live the worst moments of their life. Our battle is against the perverse kingdom of Hell.

Many people need to be broken so that the enemy won’t do them harm. Those who are spiritually blind do not know God’s orientation, so they can hinder His plans, since their thoughts lead them to believe in other things. Only He who is perfect does things perfect.
