But I tell you truly, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elijah, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, and there was a great famine throughout all the land. Luke 4.25

It’s incredible, but the Lord, many times, can’t help us. It is necessary to learn when and why it happens for us to always have divine help. There are Christians starving, suffering with terminal illnesses, going into debt and all sorts of problems. However, there is only one way to be heard: acting by faith. Well, he who is incautious doesn’t have divine protection.

There are many things that the Almighty can’t do, and one of them is listening to us when we aren’t living in faith in Jesus. The decision is ours if we let something take us away from the Word. Just as it happened with Peter, who was walking on the water and started to sink, we can lose the heavenly grace, which makes us act out of the human patterns.

Those who learn and start to live by faith become victorious in all things. As a matter of fact, the Lord wants to see His sons like this. Well, if we are following the Lord Jesus we will always be successful. As He, by Himself, could do nothing, we can be sure that we also, by ourselves, can do nothing (John 15.5b).

Israel was in crisis because it hadn’t rained for a long period and, because of that, there was lack of food. Many widows could have been assisted, but only one sought the Most High correctly; then, the Lord sent the prophet Elijah to take care of her. There are servants of God who, due to facing heavy difficulties in many areas of their lives, they need to align themselves with the Father in order to have help from Him.

The truth is if we act by faith we will be assisted. There is only this way. Without faith it is impossible to open the way for the Lord to work. No attitude coming from man will be accepted if it isn’t an attitude of faith. The work of the preachers is to speak the Truth so that everybody has faith, and this way they please the Most High. The Lord never leaves us unassisted, as long as we are walking without any impediment.

Whoever doesn’t study the Word, or doesn’t pay attention to the sermon, will not understand the voice of the Lord and, so, will not have faith. Well, without it the person will never pray the way so that God can help her. No one will make the prayer of faith if the heart is without the substance of things hoped for (Hebrews 11.1). Before praying, check if you are in communion and if you will cry according to what the Word of God says.

É possível ter o socorro divino em todos os momentos; portanto, aplique-se às direções dadas pelo Altíssimo. O que Ele lhe diz é como uma veste espiritual a ser usada sempre por você. Estando vestido de modo adequado, não haverá motivo para o Senhor não lhe atender. A Escritura é claríssima ao dizer que a maldição sem causa não se cumpre (Pv 26.2b).

It is possible to have the divine help at every moment; so, apply yourself to the commands given by the Most High. What He says to you is like a spiritual garment always to worn by you. If you are dressed accordingly, there will be no reason whatsoever for the Lord not to assist you. The Scriptures are crystal clear when saying that the curse without cause shall not alight (Pro 26.2b).
