Also that day they offered great sacrifices, and rejoiced, for God had made them rejoice with great joy; the women and the children also rejoiced, so that the joy of Jerusalem was heard afar off. Nehemiah 12.43

Joy is an ingredient of great importance for the people of God. With it, we manage to serve the Most High; without it, what we deem to be a service to God is something normal and with no spiritual value. The Lord’s children must strive to please Him, and this can only be done with the joy that He gives. Seek this satisfaction for your life and you will have His strength acting in your favor.

The Israelites could make many sacrifices; however, without the presence of the Most High, nothing special would happen in their ceremonies. Many Christians go to church; however, it is as if they did not. They pray and there is no answer; they make purposes and nothing happens; they ask for prayer to the most consecrated servants and do not pay attention to what request they make. There is a divine answer to explain why the Lord might not be operating.

When the work is determined by God, all the directions are fulfilled, and then, joy comes as a sign of divine approval. It is necessary to remove the personal plans, cease giving too much attention to friends, relatives, and other people, whether they are from church or not. Whoever does what the Father orders is certainly attended, but whoever does not strive to be in communion with Him does not know how much he is lacking. This must be the aim of our lives.

Jesus guaranteed that His joy signals His visitation. This can happen always, considering that we fulfill His commandments, which are not burdensome. His burden is light and His yoke is easy (Mat 11.30). Those who allow themselves to be taught by the Most High discover that it is easy to serve Him with fullness of heart, for He helps them to do so. God loves those who love Him (Prov 8.17).

When the Lord makes us rejoice, there is no one who might prevent us from receiving the promised blessing. The joy that accompanies His visitation is like the opening of the last door to get to the Father’s storehouse. Being inside the heavenly storehouse, you can get everything you need. There are no hindrances for the person who lives with this satisfaction, because she manages to surpass them. Right now, enter in prayer. 

The joy of the Lord spreads all around. Through it, enmities are undone; problems are solved, and there is strengthening in Him. One of the signs that the preacher was used by the Lord is the manifestation of the joy of those who listened to him. The people who receive it never know defeat, because they are made fresh and decided to win.

In that day, Jerusalem rejoiced and was heard from afar. When your time comes, the same will happen. When the Lord visits you, do not reprimand your joy, and then continue in His presence. May your friends, relatives, and other people see the change in your life because of the presence of the Omnipotent God.
