Now when the multitudes saw it, they marveled and glorified God, who had given such power to men. Matthew 9.8

When Jesus came to the world, people were marveled not only with the beautiful words that came out of His lips. They were surprised with the authority that He had over diseases, demons, and even nature. The Master guaranteed that those who believed in Him would do the same works that He did (Jo 14.2). However, where are those that truly believe in Him? As we know, the Son of God does not lie, nor is ever mistaken.

Everyone who is summoned by the Kingdom of God must be prepared for the Day of accountability. Certainly, the just Judge will ask for us to explain why we did not do the same works as He did on His days of ministry on Earth. Now, it will be of no use saying that we did not understand it right, or that we were not called to pray for the sick and to take the Word to the lost, for what we were called for will testify against us.

There is an enormous loss that the cowards, fearful, and timid Christians cause to the Gospel and to themselves. Besides losing their reward for their negligence, they will be made responsible for the souls that did not get to know the Truth. Now, in the same way that someone put effort to minister to us the message of salvation, we must put effort for other people to receive it as well.

If we do not use the power that was given to us, many people will not see the difference that must exist in our lives. We are destined to represent the Master, doing the same things as He did. Thus, we cannot be silent and cross our arms in front of the suffering of so many people, oppressed in the hands of the evil spirits. Such people sell their bodies, use drugs, and do filthy things because they do not know that the power to set them free is inside the Christian.

The multitudes must be marveled in our days too. After all, we are the bearers of the work of God, and we cannot act as if we did not know of this truth. When the son of God does not assume his place in Christ, he does what is evil, for when he believed in Jesus, the divine plan was already revealed to him. However, know that if you simply desire to help your neighbor, the Holy Spirit will give you all direction.

The same power that God gave to Jesus is also available for every person that is called to be His. The children of God will see how easy and simple it is to be used by God when they act on His name. This power is in your life, and through it, you can become an operator of the divine justice. Be steady and fearless as you represent the Lord. Go and make use of your right in Christ. There are many people waiting for your obedience so they can glorify God.
