Whoever comes to Me, and hears My sayings and does them, I will show you whom he is like:  Luke 6:47

The first step is to go to Jesus and acknowledge who He is and what He can do for you. This is done through faith – the certainty that comes to our heart when we understand what the Lord says in His Word. There are no privileged ones or excluded, for, when He says: Anyone who comes to me, Christ is referring to the enormous number of people who understand what they are told and decided to go to Him. These are the people who will succeed in all things. 

After going to the Lord, give more attention to the Word: after all, after having said “yes” to the calling to belong to His flock, the Scriptures will tell you what is lacking for you to please God. The Holy Spirit begins to teach you the divine will when you first gave ear to the Word, and He continues to act this way for the rest of your life. As you grown in faith, more teaching will be given to you. 

When understanding any part of the message given by God, examine what is being shown to you and meditate on that. Only those who give ear to what God speaks can act in a wise manner. Then, when a series of bad things comes to put you down, you will be able to undo it. However, if you have not paid attention to the lesson, you will not know how to act; thus, your house will be taken away by the currents. 

After having learned something about the power that is available to you and of the obligation you have with God, put yourself to do that which was revealed to you, for that proves that you love Jesus. You will not be responsible for not doing what wasn´t told you, but, from the moment you understood what the Father revealed you, the responsibility is now all yours. If you don’t assume what is your, on Judgment Day, you will be condemned as a wicked and lazy servant (Matt 25:26-30). 

The principle used by the Most High is to honor those who honor Him. In this declaration, there is a very important fact: those who receive the order to do something, but do not obey, prove that they don’t give any attention to God. Therefore, although they pray asking for a blessing, they will not be answered. Those who don’t fulfill the divine commandment, exclude themselves from the Most High´s works, for the unbelief of that person prevents Him from answering them. 

Those who are willing to fulfill the commands given by the Lord must not act by impulse, but they must act under the direction of the Holy Spirit. Too seek God´s direction is like digging until you find a solid ground. Once having found it, you must enter the battle firmed in that which the Father showed you. In the spiritual battle that will follow, the enemy will send winds and rains that will form large torrents, but this will not be able to shake the good foundation. 

The determinations of those who don’t obey the orientations of the Most High will fall to the ground, for they are not nailed to the Rock. However, that which the zealous servants of God speak, decide and do, based on what they learn from Him, will never be lost. Those who are prudent are successful, for that is how the Almighty leads His people.
