I love the LORD, because He has heard my voice and my supplications. Psalm 116:1

David says he loves the Lord and such statement is fraught with messages that the Spirit of God wants us to know. Around a thousand years later, the Lord Jesus told us that loving God is to have His commandments and keep them (John 14:21). So, we can understand that one of the secrets of the psalmist was to have the divine commandments and obey them; that is why he was always successful.

Anyone who does like David did will be as successful as he was. For this reason, unlike some people who are fooled by the devil and take no interest in knowing what the Most High has prepared for them, we should strive to know what He wants us to do and, with all our might, fulfill His commands. In so doing, we will also be victorious in our deeds just as David was.

There is nothing more sublime and more rewarding than doing the divine will. God is wise, powerful and a well-skilled artist to make the most beautiful paintings, compose the most beautiful poems and give His servants moments of joy and happiness. Therefore, those who have sound judgment should serve the Lord with gladness and goodness of heart; thus they will have their needs fully met.

The psalmist declared that the Lord heard his voice, and this will happen to everyone who wants to fulfill the commandments which, besides not being heavy to carry out, are tips that God gives us so that we can attain His blessed moving in our life. He who despises what the Lord says despises life and as a result they are constantly shrouded in failures and all sorts of problems. However, those who serve the Almighty will receive countless blessings.

David had every reason to write this. Apart from having experienced the good, acceptable and perfect will of God (Romans 12:2), he was ordered by the Spirit of God to register this fact in the Holy Book. The Lord wanted everyone to learn to enjoy His holy operations. Today, He made you understand it so that you can have His power operating in your favor and supplying all your needs.

Keep the commandments and the Lord will hear your prayers. It pays to be obedient. He who loves God will see that He, in His turn, will love you back. Failure to fulfill the Almighty’s will is the cause of a lot of spiritual failure, so follow the divine guidance. How about making a covenant with the Lord? That is what He is proposing now. Do not leave it for later. God is ready to hear you and fulfill all His promises.
