07/03/2018 - WHY TROUBLE THE MASTER?

While He was still speaking, some came from the ruler of the synagogue’s house who said, “Your daughter is dead. Why trouble the Teacher any further?” Mark 5:35

Some people who do not believe in the Almighty, although they claim to be evangelicals, always distrust the servants of the Lord and are accustomed to lying, being often times rude. When they seek a servant of God to solve a problem, they do this only after they have tried everything else or if questioned about their faith, they confirm.  Can this be really true?

On a certain occasion, Jesus had promised to go to the house of Jairus, the prince of the synagogue to heal his daughter. However, when the Master was speaking to the woman who had been healed of her bleeding, some servants of this prince came to say that there was no more need to bother the Messiah.  Who were these people to say this to Jairo? Even if they had been sent to deliver bad news, they didn’t have the right to tell him what to do. Their words sounded like lack of respect for Jesus.

Those men did not know that nobody bothers the Lord when asking for His help. Because they knew not the Word of God or the character of the Savior, they didn’t even suspect that Jesus would restore the girl, even if she was dead. Those who receive the Word, which will resolve the temptation, should not worry about what may happen during the journey, because if the Redeemer guaranteed what he said, the outcome will be good.

Jairus had received the Word from Jesus, so he had no reason to let bad News invade his heart.  The report that his servants delivered could have led the girl to the tomb, if the Lord had not intervened.  Jairus trusted in the words of the Savior, so he believed that He would bring his daughter back to life.  Always believe in what God has said to you, in good or bad news!

With Jesus’ delay, Jairus´ family had lost hope, and when they saw the girl lose consciousness, they gave up hope.  It is wise and good to teach ours to truly believe in the Father, because when things get worse, they will see and know that well learned spiritual teachings and principles will give them the solutions to their problems. The All- Powerful is faithful!  Amen!

As he heard the bad News, Jairus must have felt overwhelmed in his inner self.  Therefore, Jesus told him to fear not, but only believe (Mark 5:36) If you disregard what the Omnipotent has told you through the Scriptures, you will have nothing from Him; but if you believe in His bidding victory will be yours.  The Lord never loses his battles!

Why bother the Master anymore if Jairus’ daughter had already died? Because, for Jesus, it doesn’t matter what condition the person is in. He has the power to resurrect anyone. It is necessary to believe to see the glory of God. Do you believe?

In Christ, with Love

Oh God! Those who do not serve You use unreal arguments and are against the Truth. Jairus’ servants told him he should not trouble  the Master any longer, for the girl had died. Poor sinners!  They didn’t know who they were dealing with!

Jesus knew of everything, even the details about those circumstances.  He foretold the synagogue’s principal with assurance everything that would happen. When He anticipated that Jairus only believe and should fear not, He transmitted him patience and the girl was restored to life.

Jairus´ servants did not observe that Jesus spoke to the woman who had been cured of bleeding and interrupted the conversation, being used by the devil to try and steal Jairus´ blessing. You are never troubled by our requests! Thank You!
