01/11/2017 - WHY WE UNDERSTAND THE GOSPEL

Now get up and stand on your feet. I have appeared to you to appoint you as a servant and as a witness of what you have seen and will see of me. Acts 26:16

We were not drawn or conducted to the Kingdom of God by accident, but yes as part of the plan for the redemption of humanity that He created.  However, for this remission to become a reality we must step away from religiosity which oppresses many who are given to it and we must do what most pleases the Lord:  practice His word.  This is the Key to anyone’s success in all endeavors. One must be delivered from human ideas and follow only the directions from God.

Ever since God began to call people to fulfill his purpose, such as Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, He made Himself known as the All-Powerful.  This means we have to live and acts as His envoys, fearless and dauntless before the threats of men or devils.  Now he who works for a Supreme Being who is all powerful in His deeds has the power to say and to do all that He ordains, otherwise, will suffer for having been disobedient.

The struggle for man’s deliverance involves much more than a convincing sermon, where the viewer answers with a show of their hands so that the Lord may enter in and save their lives.  Every time we mention or talk about God we must do so positively and affirmatively, always with love in our words and expressions (Colossians 4:56) However, in the face of an attack by the enemy, we must express our authority in Christ, halting and destroying the works of evil.

Paul was called to be a minister and to witness God’s great project on behalf of humanity.  This same calling and invitation now weighs on all of God’s people, whether they want it or not.  Not all are called to service to the church but no doubt all are called to bear witness to a New Testament.  No matter what your job or function is in a secular world, being someone who is saved you are a minister and a witness to Jesus.

We are called to a war declared against the forces of evil where the only salvation is to fight against the principalities and powers of this century and the spiritual hosts of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12). Anyone who is saved cannot be exempt from this obligation.  Those who are unprepared and unwilling to carry out this command will discover that this prevents their prayers from being received and answered.

In this battle there is no place for cowards who fear the threats from the kingdom of darkness.  When we were saved we were given authority to be used in the Name of Jesus (Mark 16:18). The tribe of Ephraim was reprimanded by God, because although they were armed for battle, at the crucial moment they retreated (Psalm 78:9). Never doubt what the Bible says with regards to you and when you have the opportunity to use your authority in the Name of Jesus, honor the Omnipotent.

We can’t have sins that are not confessed to those we offend or to God.  Be careful!  The devil will cover you in shame and other reasons for you not to confess to whom you offended and thus lead you in this way to the Day of Judgment.

In Christ, with Love,

R. R. Soares

God!  We want to fulfill Your plan, ridding ourselves of past errors, committed consciously or unconsciously. That is why we come before You. Your Word promises that if we confess our sins we will be forgiven. We now do so in faith.

We must be ministers and witnesses to what You can do for others and for us too. Thank You for Jesus having shed His blood and affording us a way to not be condemned. We believe in Your Son’s sacrifice in our favor.

Now Lord, in faith we rise to take up our mission we were appointed to.  We wait for more of Your revelations, so we can complete Your amazing work. Thank You for including us in Your redemption plan.
