Thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘Execute true justice, show mercy and compassion everyone to his brother.’  Zachariah 7.9

The order of the Lord had been given. The Israelites knew what they should do, but they did not do what had been ordered. The same happens today, with many Christians that let themselves be led by temptations. The enemy weakens them, leading them to a life of submission to the evil intentions. Everything that comes from the devil is worthless and must be rejected immediately.

God had commissioned His people to execute true justice. Now, justice executed by man, to the eyes of the Truth, is false. Although the legal process might have been fulfilled perfectly, the fact that the law of man is not subject to the law of the Lord, and does not consider what causes someone to do something illicit – Satan’s oppression –  the decision of the Jury is generally not the right sentence.

However, true justice does not seek to punish man, but the demon that leads him to act according to his will. The person that is not genuinely freed will never know God, so he will never act according to the Scriptures’ rules. Those who belong to the Lord must be prepared to be used by Him in the same way that Jesus was used. The Son of the Most High judged according to the true justice – the revelation of the Word (Jo 7.24).

One of the examples in which Christ executed true justice was in the synagogue of Capharnaum. For 18 years, a daughter of Abraham was oppressed by Satan. Every day, her spine would bend more. In our churches, if we pay attention, we will see the devil sinking some people more and more into the well of suffering. However, in the same way that Jesus freed that woman, He can also free these people.

When we do not use the authority that was given to us over the power of the devil – withholding from liberating widows, orphans, foreigners, and the poor from their anguish, or devising evil things in our hearts against our neighbor – we fail completely. Thus, we are considered as guilty as the oppressive spirits. Those who do not attend to the divine order will have to be accountable for their negligence (Jr 48.10).

It is not right to harden the heart like a diamond. Those who do so will see that they despised the Word that could have freed them. Those who do not attend to the divine commandment will not act as servants of the Lord, and therefore, will not be able to use the divine power to free the oppressed. If they do so, these people will realize that it was not a good thing to give their back to God. It is important to know that those who close their ears also close the Almighty’s ears.

The right thing is to listen to the words of the Lord of Hosts sent by His Spirit. They are written in the Bible. Know that those who despise it will face the great wrath of the Omnipotent in the Great Day, and while they remain in rebellion, they will also suffer. If you despise God, He will not be able to help you in the moment of your affliction.

In Christ, with love,

Father! Help us always to obey your commandments, for if we do not do so, we will be forever lost and wandering in the world. We want Your powerful hand always over our life. We cannot live outside of Your protection or far from Your love.

May everyone assimilate the example of the Master in the synagogue of Capharnaum. Then, when the enemy attacks one of our brethren in Christ, we will use the authority in the Name of Jesus and will rebuke evil, freeing this person from the eternal wrath.

We do not want to harden our hearts like diamonds, nor to give our backs to You. On the contrary, we desire You to make our heart as flesh, sensitive to Your touch, and always cleaned from any impurity. Father! Let us know You as our God and Lord.
