When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick. Matthew 8.16

It was a long day of work, and when it was almost over, Jesus began to answer those in need. This example needs to be followed by those who are saved, so that the divine work will be truly accomplished on Earth. There is only one way we can please the Lord: fulfilling His commandments. By obeying the Word, – for this, we have come to the Kingdom of God -, we do our part and we are never influenced by the enemy’s lies.

The Almighty has not changed one single millimeter in His way of acting. He leads people to be healed of their sicknesses and He solves difficult situations. Jesus was very clear when He said that delivering the oppressed by casting out the demons is an obligation to the Christians. We were saved to be the extension of the Father’s love in the world.

After delivering the man who was possessed by evil spirits, the Master’s fame began to spread through that region; then, people started to bring Him those who were dominated by evil. There were so many people that were lost in all kinds of sins, living far from what God established as a pattern. Remember that the devil acts in all social classes.

The tool used by the Messiah was His Word. With that, He showed us how to undo the oppression, restore the health of the sick and solve the problems that disturb humanity. There is only one way to cast out a demon: acting like Jesus. He ordered us to use His Name for that. Great will be the loss of the Christians that do not fulfill the work completely, as it says in the Word of God

This example from Jesus was the continuation of what happened at the synagogue when an evil spirit began to manifest in a man and complained about the Master’s works. Calmly, Christ ordered the evil to leave and for everyone’s joy, it left. The only method to deliver those who are dominated by the forces of evil is the one Jesus taught. Do as He instructed, because the same power will operate in and through you.

The people sent many possessed men and women to the Master. Even though there was a great amount of oppressed people, He always behaved the same way: casting out the filthy spirits. Don’t try to change the rules that were established in the Heavens; otherwise, not only will you will be disobeying the Lord, but your strategy will not work. There are no substitutes to the Gospel or to the divine commandments. Do as Christ commanded and you will be rewarded.

There were individuals with the most diverse diseases, who were healed by the same Tool used to create all things (John 1:3). This Instrument should also be used to put an end to the hellish attacks and heal all kinds of sufferings. What will you do? Will you obey God or the devil?
