22/04/2017 - WORTHY TO STAND BEFORE JESUS

Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man. Luke 21:36

In this verse there are important decisions that the servants of God must make to receive and enjoy the benefits that must never be forgotten, as each one is the result of the Most High´s personal decision and doing. People that disdain the Lord’s revelation will be held as irresponsible, as was the man who received one talent, hid it and took that only talent to his master who in turn scolded him for being evil and negligent.

There is great loss in not listening to the teachings of faith. Some places only teach about eternity – which no doubt is important to speak of – but one must hear, listen and know how Jesus proceeded.  He not only announced and heralded salvation but healing as well. He said He would do this today, tomorrow and up to the third day when this would be ended.  The third day refers to the times after His return. Christ obeyed the Father, carrying out His orders.  He declared that we should be like the wind that does not know where it is headed (John 3:8).

To pray all the time does not mean you have to keep talking to God incessantly. Actually every time you feel the need you should open your heart and talk to Him about any and all things that bother or rile you. Even if you have just finished praying; if you feel the urge or the need, that is when you should pray and intercede.  Don’t ever think that the Lord is tired of all your many requests that flow constantly from you.

The whole world is going through a period of problems which Jesus called the great tribulation. Consequently there will be suffering greater than ever or than there will ever be. However, for those that know how to live in the shelter of the Most High, they will find rest under His wings. What is written in the Scriptures will definitely happen; sooner or later even the things that Jesus warned will happen. However, those who pursue obediently divine orders shall enjoy His protection.

Those who keep watch and pray to not get involved with wrong things will be exempt from future trials and tribulations. Then they will be spared as the Israelites were spared when the earth was opened up and swallowed Korah, Dathan and Abiram and the fire spewed forth from the Lord, destroying the 250 elders of the congregation that listened to them. Because they rebelled they were not worthy to remain in the camp among the Israelites.

The great tribulation will come over all of humanity, but it will not affect those that pray and are considered righteous and worthy. Live in communion with the Most High; otherwise you will not be able to survive what will affect people everywhere. These days will be troublesome, full of struggles and despair for those who do not serve God in Spirit and in truth. But divine hand will protect the righteous and worthy.

Those who are deemed worthy to avoid the great tribulation, which will make this whole world a place of complete torment, will not even be scathed by any action of the enemy. This will happen before the end of the world and Jesus’ second coming.  Therefore, obey God’s commands. Many will betray and withdraw from the Gospel.  What a pity!
