Do not fret because of evildoers, nor be envious of the workers of iniquity.

Psalm 37:1

When the Lord inspired the Scriptures His intention was not to produce a best-selling that would touch people’s emotions in an irresponsible way. That which He revealed in the Holy Bible is meant to help us get rid of sin and bring us closer to His wonderful and holy presence. Therefore, do not judge what was recorded in the Bible as something disposable, but consider it as the true assistance from Heavens to keep us from falling into the enemy’s hands.

The Almighty says you should not fret because of evildoers. So, no matter the extent of the evil that someone might engage into, do not let anger dominate your heart. Instead, examine what God says about this subject, look for the way of escape that He will show you and for the guidance He will give you (Psalm 119:105) so that you do not fall into temptation. Even when we rebuke those who are overtaken in sin, we need divine help to avoid being tempted in the same way (Galatians 6:1).

When a man gets angry, he stops heeding the Lord and as a result he will be tempted by the enemy, who will try to use him to fulfill his filthy plans. Now, as servants we need to hear from God what is His direction for us concerning all things, instead of making our own decisions. No matter how well-intentioned someone might be, it is not up to him or her to tell what the Spirit of God should do; after all, the Lord makes no mistakes.

The workers of iniquity are more “loyal” to their leader than those who profess to wait on the Lord, in that the wicked are totally guided by the evil one in the execution of their plans. But never envy them because although they seem to obtain some success while they practice sin, their fate will be tragic. The devil goes to any length in order to make people fall into his traps.

Only the blessing of the Lord makes one rich and He adds no sorrow with it (Proverbs 10:22). What He gives us does a great good for our soul and does not lead us into the sin of pride, which makes people think they have achieved something because they are better than the others. But man will never peacefully enjoy whatever has an evil inspiration. Whatever comes from the enemy is suspicious, evil and of no value to God’s servants (III John 1:11).

We should pray for people who are used to do evil and who succeed in practicing iniquity, because soon their lives will be mowed down and cast into the bottomless pit. We must fight in the name of the most holy faith the Lord has given us to snatch the sinners from the eternal fire. One of the reasons why the Lord did not take us to heaven when He saved us is because we have a lot to do for the lost (Philippians 1:24-30).

In Christ with Love,
