For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.

Romans 8: 15

At Adam’s fall men’s spirit was disconnected from God and death – Satan’s very essence – coming to this world caused humans to be filled up with fear and dominated by the spirit of bondage. Along with our rebirth The Lord granted us the spirit of adoption; thus, we re-established our communion with Him. Our position today is much higher than the one Adam enjoyed before sinning because we’ve become children of God, The Omnipotent.

Before our conversion our situation was quite dreadful and humiliating because we were under the authority of the devil – the one who used to cause us oppression as he pleased. Yet, with our rebirth we became new creations and that’s the reason why we don’t have to satisfy the whim of the devil. So now, we only have to effectively take possession of our affiliation and make our rights in Christ worth.

So, please! Do not have fear any longer! Take out of your heart all feeling of indignity; now you’re a son of The Most High and no one can separate you from the love of God. You might even have fallen and perhaps you feel you’re not qualified to face the enemy but you mustn’t carry on feeling sorry; stand up and do confess your sins and take possession of your new stand in Christ Jesus.

Being a servant of The Lord you mustn’t surrender yourself to the empire of evil considering that the spirit of bondage is already defeated for you to become a blameless son of God among a quite corrupted generation. Do begin shining as light among the darkness which surrounds the lost and as salt which prevents mankind to perish eternally (Matthew 5: 13). God expects each one of His children to be a blessing made by Him in Jesus.

For having received the spirit of adoption you can cry out Father to the only true God. That means that you’re a quite special person now because you have become a son of The One who holds all power in His hands. That sort of relationship gives you the capacity of being kept from all evil. The truth is that in order to enjoy that protection a member of the divine family doesn’t need to do anything else apart from believing that they’re indeed a child of The Lord– The Lord who is absolute in all things; therefore, being a child of God you are to take attitudes accordingly!

I don’t recommend someone who’s born again to let sin dominate their life. Don’t let it happen to you because that’s a strategy of the enemy to strip you of your rights. Along with sin comes separation from God and then the enemy will be entitled to cause oppression on you once more.

Turn to God right now and call Him Abba which means Father – you can believe that being so He won’t fail to answer you. You have access to all of His possessions: peace, forgiveness, healing or any other blessing. So get straight with God and begin enjoying all those things you need the most because your affiliation into the divine family grants you this prerogative.
