He makes peace in your borders, and fills you with the finest wheat.

Psalm 147.14

We can compare ourselves with a land with borders: we are a spirit which has a soul and dwells in a body. We have dreams, wishes, we want to start a blessed family etc., and in all these borders, God has to make peace, otherwise we remain restless.

Within us, there is great diversity; there are areas that need to be watched to prevent the enemy from entering. If there are evil forces acting in any of these areas, they will advance until we are fully controlled by them. Everything we have must bless the name of the Lord. Therefore, he who does not take care of his territory will pay a high price for being careless or lazy.

Human beings are made up of three parts: body, soul, and spirit. Our inner being is the spiritual part, which, despite being eternal and born separated from the Lord, needs to be born again, otherwise we cannot see or enter the kingdom of God (John 3.3). The soul will follow the spirit to its eternal destination, and the body will turn into dust, as it were in the beginning (Job 10.9).

There is not a single person who does not have plans of achieving goals and attaining blessings; however, your will must be subject to God’s will. Those who believe they can live on their own will see, at the end, that they were wrong. On the other hand, those who submit themselves to the Lord will never regret their acts, because they will see that their attitude was more reasonable. In fact, he who surrenders himself to the Creator and does his will receives all the best, because he is guided by the Word of God and will regret nothing at the end of his days. Therefore, if we act in accordance with God’s plan, the Lord will make peace in all our borders, which means there will not be disturbances in any areas of our lives.

Without the finest wheat, that is, the Word of God, we cannot have Bread. But the right food for any person’s soul is the revelation of the Holy Word. As long as we are sustained by this Bread, our spirit will be strong and we will be able to overcome any adversity, to fight and win; and the Lord will be glorified through our actions.

The Bread we receive is part of God’s nature, and he does not give it to us sparingly, but lavishly. Heavenly food is withheld only from those who do not seek guidance in the Bible; and those who despise it will never have communion with the Lord. It is up to each one of us to serve the Lord, seek him and claim our eternal Bread, so that we are never defeated.
