21/02/2017 - YOU WILL WAGE YOUR OWN WAR

For by wise counsel you will wage your own war, and in a multitude of counselors there is safety. Proverbs 24.6

If we want to live free of the enemy’s attacks, we have to face him in the Name of Jesus, otherwise, we will be attacked by him. Those who don’t do anything suffer; however, those who accept what Christ said battle with the arms of justice – the biblical revelations – and, because of this, they defeat the one who came to kill, steal and destroy (John 10:10). Decide to do what the Word declares and be delivered from all evil.

In the past,  the non regenerated nature of men led them to invade any nation where they could profit from, that is why God’s people were lead to battle, to defend themselves, rejecting the enemy. Although people who are not saved act the same way today, we know that we do not have to wrestle against flesh and blood, rather against the demons that use them in its various hierarchical categories (Ephesians 2:12).

The filthy spirits will never give up trying to provoke us, because their nature is evil, because they obey Satan´s, their boss’ orders. Whenever they try to operate in us, we need to bind them and cast them ot. There is no way that their will can prevail in the lives of those who possess the anointing of the Most High and trust in Christ. Therefore, do not get desperate if you are attacked, but rather rebuke the attacker so that he may run away.

One of the goals of a Christian is to learn the teachings of the Bible about the power that was granted to them in order to be successful. Another lesson is to not listen to the lies of the enemy; that way, as soon as you feel tempted, you must use the authority that was given by Jesus to undo the works of Hell. In Christ, those who are saved have the conditions to do all of this.

God got upset with Ephraim, because He had strengthened him for the battle, but even though he was armed, he retreated (Psalm 78:9, 2 Kings 17:15). May this never happen to you! Even if the devil does his very best to annihilate you, he will never be able to fulfill his evil purpose if you remain steadfast in faith. There is no spell that can prevail against those who are saved, because, by being light in the Lord, darkness has no chance of defeating them. 

Learn from the examples of the servants that were used be the Lord and see which ones you have to follow in every battle that you face. Take a look at what the Bible says: you will wage your own war. How? Behaving according to the Scriptures, that way, you will never be defeated. Amen? 

To sum it up, one more very important topic: always remember that the people of Canaan that Joshua did not expel from the land became thorns for the Israelites (Joshua 16:10). In other words, if you don’t cast away all the sinful desires in your heart, they will attack you and oppress your life. By casting them away, you will shut the door for the enemy.
