But you shall be named the priests of the Lord, they shall call you the servants of our God. You shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory you shall boast.

Isaiah 61.6

What do worldly people think of you? Do they feel compassion for you or acknowledge what the Lord has done? You were made a priest of the Lord God, called to be his servant, and to carry out his justice.

The worst thing that can happen to us Christians is not to be recognized as someone who walks with God and is Christ-like. What follows is that those who are lost do not seek our help and we fail to fulfill God’s purpose of taking to heaven all those who belong to the Lord. After we become Christians, we remain in this world to do the same works that Jesus did in his days on Earth (John 14.12).

If you do not take hold of your authority in Jesus, evil spirits will act in your life, as they do in the lives of those who are not saved. The Father will not be glorified, if you do not inspire respect from others. So you will probably continue entering in the soup line and receiving second-hand clothes and other benefits that society offers. It is those who are lost who should receive things from your hands; after all, we Christians are the light of the world!

You were given a privileged position in the Son of God! You were made a priest of the only true God (Revelations 1.6). At any time you must enter God’s presence and minister in his name. See if that has happened to you; if you have not taken your position in Christ, it is time to do it! In the faith, there is no magic, but lots of work to be done.

You have a dual ministry: you were made priest and king. You are a priest of the King of kings concerning all things that pertain to life and godliness (2Peter 1.3). So do not wait until tomorrow, and stop begging the Lord for his mercy and help. You have already received the anointing necessary to receive what is rightfully yours. After all, your dual ministry enables you to carry out God’s justice.

The understanding of the Word of God is the greatest asset any mortal being can have, because, through it, he is able to deliver anyone from sin. When you open your mouth to carry out your mission, put the power of God into action. Much more than you imagine is expected of you; in fact, that which you must deliver is your own food.

You will boast in Christ when you deliver to those who are lost the glory that God has given you. He ordained that the powerful words that heal the sick, save those who are in sin and deliver the captive must come out of your lips. Strive to fulfill your call and you will see many improvements in your life!
