The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit. Psalm 34:18

The broken heart is the work of the Holy Spirit, when He convinces man that he is not walking right. God does this because He is merciful and loves all people equally.  He desires to fulfill His purposed plans of peace and success in all areas of their lives.  The Lord insists in wanting to change the testimony of those that stray and lead them to walk the straight and true path.  It is better to listen to the heavenly Father!

When the Spirit convicts somebody to refrain from speaking, or doing what is not convenient, God is leading that person away from the path of the devil.  Being Omniscient, the Father knows where the error will lead some of His children, and for this reason His Spirit will convict them of sin, righteousness and judgment (John 16:8). This way they will be able to amend their ways and walk straight with Him.

The Lord comes with all His power to meet them that have strayed and remains by their side.  In the physical world there are billions of celestial bodies in our galaxy and billions of other bodies in other galaxies.  All is sustained by the power of His hand.  In the spiritual realm, which is even greater, God does the same and now wants to be together with you to solve your problems.  You do not even notice how much you lose for not believing in Him.  Wake up and be a winner!

Learn, observe and obey the commandments.  This will make you whole in the path of faith.  You will find many obstacles in your journey here, so strengthen yourself in the divine power.  When you finish your course, you will say that you fought the good fight, kept the faith and that you will receive the crown of righteousness (2 Timothy 4:7,8). Don’t allow anything sinful to overtake your heart, for the Most High has prepared you for great victories here and in the hereafter.

If you understand that you have committed various mistakes, confess them to the Lord.  If some of them hurt or brought damage to someone, seek the person out and make things right with them.  If not, you will go to the Court of Christ to be judged.  Submit yourself to the Word of God and be successful now and forever.  To be delivered from the iniquities that certainly will condemn you is a wise decision.  Salvation is a complete work of the Lord!

As you understand and accept the love of God, your heart will be broken, contrite, remorseful and desirous of transformation.  Transgressions and trespasses lead the person to remain under the yoke of the devil and this is never good.  Why get into trouble with the evil one if soon the Most High will place the enemy under his feet to be crushed? The contrite spirit will make you experience how much the heart of the Lord suffers and is saddened with your misconduct.

Don’t refuse the instructions of the heavenly Father. Praise Him for adopting you as His child for this proves that He loves you as a legitimate child and not as a bastard.  Your best moment with God begins when you feel His touch and continues when you remain faithful and sincere before Him.  Take this opportunity now and settle your accounts with God.

In Christ, with love,

R. R. Soares

God of love! You convict us of our faults and know what is best for us.  Therefore, You direct our way back to Your presence, so that we do not submit to the enemy of our soul.  To You be all the honor and glory!

Tell us what to do before we answer to the offender.  May it be that our hearts  never pronounce any condemnation or be without anointment.  Nothing will separate us from Your love, which must be shared with all, even with those who wound us.

To turn the other cheek, often times is very difficult; however, if we don´t do it, we will never be respected as Your servants.  We need to live Your love and Your grace, so that we may be brokenhearted and have a contrite heart.  Amen!
