I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; They shall never hold their peace day or night. You who make mention of the Lord, do not keep silent, Isaiah 62:6

The Church of Jesus does not move round unguarded, with its doors open and susceptible to the invasions of the powers of darkness, for the Lord has placed watchmen on our walls. We do not have to be worried about the devil’s tricks, because his strategies to attack us are ineffective. But if we stop watching and praying, we will no longer notice the warnings of the watchmen concerning the plans of the wicked one. We must be alert in order to avoid the hellish attacks.

Our precautions are practically useless if God does not protect us (Psalm 127:1). Therefore, we must be cautious against any temptation. When we feel that the devil is behind such situations, we must cast him out in the Name of Jesus. If we are standing firm on the Rock of our salvation, we will not be shaken (Psalm 125:1). The evil powers simply succumb to the determinations made in the Name of the Lord.

It does not matter if we feel weak, unable to face the enemy, because these feelings do not match the stronghold that surrounds us. The Lord is our protection against any onslaught from the enemy and He gives us the power to overcome evil. We will be invincible if we despise fear and abide in what the Most High has done and will do to protect us. He is faithful!

The Church can remain steady and dedicated to pleasing God, for the wall of fire that surrounds cannot be trespassed. However, one must be alert about the Lord’s statements; thus, we will paralyze Satan´s actions. What will the adversary do against us if the Almighty is operating in our favor? God only stops working when we leave faith aside and start to live by the flesh.

The watchmen placed on our walls are on duty 24 hours, preventing any evil from happening to us or any come near our dwelling (Psalm 91:10). This protection extends to our relatives, allowing us to be free to carry out our mission. Therefore, believe that no one will trespass our walls, for we will be alerted when the temptation is coming.

We must be vigilant to not keep silent and, with authority and faith in Jesus, rebuke the evil, binding it and casting it out whenever something bad manifests itself in our lives: pain, sinful thoughts and attacks on our body or the work of God.

One day, we will be held accountable for the way we live and do the work. However, in order for us to be prepared for this moment of accountability, we must use the authority granted to us and fulfill the instructions given by the Father. The work we will carry out in our days will definitely be great, if we believe that the Bible promises are addressed to us.
