And it happened when Ben-Hadad heard this message, as he and the kings were drinking at the command post, that he said to his servants, “Get ready.” And they got ready to attack the city. 1 Kings 20:12

The Lord is All-Knowing and has foreknowledge: He knows the root of all facts. So when He tells you to do something, be sure it’s the best time for you to succeed. God guided you to read this message, and if you keep watch, He will direct you to do right agaisnt evil. Our Father wins any battle and prepares us for His glory.

God was giving Ahab, king of Israel, a chance to repent. If he acknowledged his error, he would again be used by the Lord. However, under Jezebel´s influence, who was unaware of the God of Israel, Ahab departed from the Truth. This king erred in marrying the daughter of Ethbaal, king of the Sidonians, a non-Israelite man. By the law of the Most High, this should never happen. Unfortunately, today many Christians violate this biblical command.

Those who disobey the divine precepts will find themselves in trouble and will only experience failure in faith, although trying to succeed. When a person despises the Lord’s command, they accept the devil’s suggestion and no longer are used by God. Sometimes the Father works on behalf of a rebel, so that the enemy does not end his life, but that does not mean his actions are being approved.

As a rule, the lost thinks he knows it all, he is presumptuous and unconcerned with the consequences of his actions. So it was with the Syrian king, who, when receiving Ahab’s answer, was relaxed and drank with his kings associated to him. At the same time he commanded his servants to ready themselves in order to teach a lesson to the “petulant” king of Samaria. But his plan failed!

The best time of the battle is the one shown by God. By knowing all things, He will lead us to victory. The Syrian king stood up, but was surprised to see the Israelites ready. The following facts were exactly as revealed by a prophet to Ahab. Thus, the Syrian army suffered great defeat. Follow the Lord’s instructions always, and you will be the winner.

By being defeated by Jesus in Hell, Satan can no longer triumph over the holy people. If we listen to our God, we will always succeed and see the evil being defeated as it deserves. The victory will be of the one whose God and Commander is the Lord. Therefore, hold on to the revelations given by your heavenly Father, for they are your weapons in the battles.

Never be impressed with the devil’s show, because it is complete nonsense, attitude of one who lost his power and pretends to be strong. Truly, there is only one strong person in the battle against the enemy: you. Thus,, be an instrument in the hands of the Lord. The devil will not touch your life if you are in Jesus. He who is not in Christ is in crisis! Halleluiah!
