The final judgment will be a very important and serious moment for everyone. That day the Word will acquit or condemn the living and the dead. So never fade, but keep on spreading the Good News, rescuing all who walk toward eternal damnation.
Serve God willingly, without laziness, for rebuked is he who does this in a relaxed way (Jer 48:10). The Christian who does not evangelize will have to answer before God on the great Day because he has not fulfilled the Ide of Jesus (Mk 16:15). The apostle Paul was always firm on this point, so much so that he urged Timothy before God and Jesus to preach the Gospel continually. If you have not lived this, this is your chance to change. Obey the Lord and spread the Good News.
In the verse, the judgment of the living and the dead that will take place at the second coming of Christ is mentioned. I believe in the definition of the living person as the savior – who passed from eternal death to life – and dead as the one in sin. No matter, they will all be submitted to the Last Judgment: those who rejected the Savior and those who were born again.
Christians should prepare for this Day without being led by the action of the evil one. With treacherous offerings, the evil one makes us likened to the seed that fell among thorns (see Matthew 13). It is with regret that I see many people not bearing fruit by giving more importance to wealth and luxury, surrendering to ambition for material things. In fact, I am sure most are more interested in the goods of this world than in hearing divine guidance.
Christ said, And if anyone hears my words and does not believe, I do not judge him, because I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath the judge. the word that I have spoken, this shall judge on the last day (John 12:47, 48). Do not play with the Lord’s admonitions. It has a purpose for your life, and you know it is a great thing; after all, his will is good, perfect, and pleasant.
We know neither the day nor the time when Jesus will come. So, watch! Let us know more the Word, the commandments, divine judgments, and fulfill them. We need to give full attention to holy guidance so that we will not fall into the mistake of getting ready when it is too late (Mt 25: 1-13).
In Christ, with love,

God our Judge! We are unaware of so many things, but we are very sure about who You are and the work you have done for us. Your Word is alive, Your teachings are precious, and Your will is perfect.
Help us understand all these things! Open our eyes to the Truth, that we may see Thy act, and thus obey Thee alone. Let us not hear the devil's voice whispering its dirty tricks, cheering for our stumble.
How we wish to have our name engraved in the Book of Life! We want to spend eternity with You, worshiping You forever! May we be faithful to You until our judgment, when we will be rewarded! Amen!
