Immediately many gathered together, so that there was no longer room to receive them, not even near the door. And He preached the word to them. Mark 2:2

In all places, Jesus´presence attracted crowds who wanted to learn how to get rid of their misfortunes. The same needs to happen today. Now, if Christ dwells in our heart, people should seek us. But is He really in us? We need to have the Son and the Father dwelling in us, as the Lord promised, and it is easy to achieve this blessing (John 14:23).

That day, it was proven that people leave everything they are doing and go to the Savior. As we read that the house was soon packed, we understand that the Lord’s anointing must work in and through us in order to win the lost for the Kingdom of Heaven. Are we inventing a way to carry out the work, without following God’s lessons?

In the accounts of biblical heroes and Christ Himself, we see the answers to fix our behavior. With the envelopment of power that he received from the Father, Jesus was doing good in all places. Do we have the anointing that rested upon the Redeemer or not? Before we can preach the Good News, we have to check if we are in Christ, and His words, in us (John 15).

The Master guaranteed that, if we believed in Him, we would do the same works He did and greater works (John 14:12). He also said that we would receive the virtue of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8). So why don’t we follow His example? Our generation has become corrupt and given in to debauchery. Although many people think that is normal, we must be instruments in the Lord’s hands. However, what is preventing us? We already have the answer to that!

When contemplating that crowd, the Messiah was not influenced by the joy of those present to see Him, but He taught the Word. I have seen that when I preach the Gospel and the people pay attention to what they hear, faith arises within them. So, after the prayer, I hear the testimony that God worked in that meeting. This should happen every time we are ministering, for the Lord does not change.

In that environment full of divine presence, where the Master was, wonders took place. Usually, when the service is at its peak, the devil reminds us of some appointment, and we end the meeting, which is so harmful to those in need. When the Lord is at work amongst the people, we must forget the time. Amen?

You can see when God speaks through us. He wants to save, heal and sanctify people by working wonders, but our haste has prevented Him from doing more. Knowing that it is difficult to lead the people into the presence of the Most High, we need to fully surrender to His guidance, allowing His power to flow.
