The heart of man, his spirit, is the true person. When you are in Christ and His words are in your being (John 15.7), all you have to do is agree with what you understand to be the Lord’s will and take hold of it, making the prayer of ownership of God’s plan for your life. For example: deliverance from sin and healing from any disease already belongs to you, because Jesus paid the price for it.
David learned from God how to live victoriously; then, by divine command, he wrote the Psalms, which, besides being beautiful praises, were also used as lessons for us to know our rights in Christ. He wrote: May the LORD answer you in the day of trouble; May the name of the God of Jacob defend you; (Psalm 20.1). This means that you can cry out in the day of trouble and, without a doubt, you will be heard.
By referring to the God of Jacob, he meant that the wisdom that this patriarch obtained from the Lord was available to him, and that was already a lot. Now, after the coming of Christ, our understanding has been opened by, let’s say, 360 degrees to meet the need of anyone today or in the future. We cannot compare what Jacob knew with what man knows today. Jesus’ understanding is unlimited!
It is in affliction, in need, that we should pray with the assurance that the problem will be solved. David did not write this because he was a poet, but because he was a servant of the Lord. So, no matter what you may need, in Christ, you have the power to find the way out of any difficulty of yours or others. God’s children can and should succeed in everything. That is how the Father wants to see them.
The verse in this study states: May He grant you according to your heart’s desire. Well, if your heart walks in the wide gate, you will receive nothing from God. But if you are in His hands, you will feel what He desires for your life, and you can lay hold of it now. What the Father reveals to us is ours: forgiveness of sins, healing from evil, peace, prosperity, and other gifts. The Lord does not want us to have any problems.
Whoever has his heart in God’s hands can experience the fullness of blessings. Just follow the Bible’s guidance, and you will be answered promptly. The enemy cannot stop you from being whom the Lord declares in His Word. Therefore, consecrate yourself and allow yourself to enjoy fellowship with the pure and holy Being whose delight is in the prosperity of His servants (Psalm 35.27). Wake up! Everything is ours in Jesus!
God wants to fulfill His design – purpose, will, and determination. Whoever serves Christ has the power of the Almighty at his disposal. Thus, you will have divine authority and assistance in everything you place your hand on. Start enjoying it, as the Word says: If you are willing and obedient, You shall eat the good [the best] of the land (Isaiah 1.19). No longer live as a lost person, but as a believer!
In Christ, with love,

God of our hearts! It is good to live in Christ, all that You have is freely given to us in Your Son. To the saved, there is no lack of promises of the fulfillment of what is Yours, of power to overcome their struggles, and of love to honor and glorify You.
In the world, we shall have tribulations, but just as Jesus overcame, we shall also overcome. It is in our interest to walk by Your side and obey Your will. Then we will finish our race, knowing that the crown of righteousness awaits us.
Thank You for answering us on the day of trouble. You do this because we pay attention to the Scriptures. We desire to honor You, worship You, and serve You in every situation. We thank You for making us Your people - true children. Amen!
