Your threshing shall last till the time of vintage, and the vintage shall last till the time of sowing; you shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely. Leviticus 26.5

Why taste scarcity when God is the Possessor of everything the new convert needs after leaving darkness and embracing the Kingdom of Jesus? We are in a position to set the example of the Son of God. The Savior wants you to have the love that He received:  And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them. (John 17.26)

We cannot tolerate a cold and dead theology based on old stories. On the contrary, we need to have the same experiences as our brothers and sisters from the past and show those who have not yet seen the power of God in action that they will be used to do the Lord’s work. This is the opportune time for us to show everyone who our Father is, God of Truth and Love!

The Lord used the example known to people who lived more than two thousand years ago: agriculture. If there was unceasing work and blessings, no one would be idle. After threshing the grains of the cob, the production of grapes would already begin, an activity largely practiced at that time. The threshers would barely finish separating the grains and would already go to the harvest – picking and processing the grapes. God is faithful!

In this example, I see the true Church. It is always reaping what it has sown and, at the same time, planting the seed, so that there is no hunger. Those who belong to God are never stagnant, because the Holy Spirit does everything with the precision of One who is expert in His work. We don’t need to invent or copy the world, but rather let the Almighty guide us in a unique way.

God’s purpose is for His workers to be busy in His harvest, whether sowing, tending the developing little plant, or harvesting and separating the fruit, so that they will have continuous provision. Scarcity in Christ’s Church means disobedience, sin or lack of love for God – to have and to fulfill the mission given by Him. The commandments must be followed to the letter (Psalms 119.4).

Is there a lack of the Bread from Heaven in your life? If so, examine the instructions from the Most High. Whoever does not walk in them does not have the confirmation of the promises. We cannot keep a single commandment away from our heart; otherwise, we will open the door to the enemy (James 2:10). Whoever keeps the commandments proves that he loves the Lord, and He will keep His promise! (John 14.21).

Finally, dwell safely in your heavenly portion – God’s will prepared for His own. You will not be visited by the forces of evil, because the Lord will guard your going out and your coming in (Psalm 121.8). Those who obey the heavenly Father experience His faithfulness. The Creator is worth trusting in!
