The prophet is a human being prepared by God to bring solutions to the problems of the people, who, because of Adam’s sin, live under the devil´s oppression. This envoy of the heavenly Father must be recognized and honored by all (2 Chronicles 20:20), but if he is not honored as a prophet, it may even be the will of the Most High, so that he doesn’t fall into the presumption of thinking he is more than what the Scriptures say. It´s good to remember: by humbling oneself, one is exalted by the Lord (Luke 14.11).
The preparation of an emissary of God, who will be empowered to deliver the afflicted in body and soul, is done by the Lord. The Lord, having foreknowledge of everything, knows what this messenger will face in his mission. It is worth remembering that our struggle is against principalities and powers, the rulers of darkness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). So let us live sin-free, according to the Bible’s teachings. We are overcomers!
Here is a fact worth noting: a false prophet among the lost is acknowledged for things he supposedly does, but in fact they are hoaxes of the kingdom of darkness. However, this never happens with the Lord’s true servants. The devil knows that they really can destroy the works of evil. It is good to be guided by the Word. Then you will overcome the trials you are going through. God honors those who honor Him (1 Samuel 2:30).
However, the saying was fulfilled in Nazareth – with Jesus. Now, the Lord was not just another one of those who lived in that place, but He had the trade of a carpenter, recognized as a prophet by those who despised Him. There is no unworthy profession, as long as it is in accordance with the laws of the country. Even where the Gospel is not allowed to be freely preached, most laws are equal to those of the world’s most respected nations. God does not allow Himself to be without testimony. Never have a problem with the laws of any country!
Even the closest members of our family often doubt us, because they have known us since we were little, they tend to think that outside prophets grew up differently from us as children. But God’s anointed ignores this fact and does the Almighty’s work with love and dedication. There will always be people who will come to us wanting solutions to their problems, provided that we have the anointing that breaks the yoke (Isaiah 9:4).
To family members, you will always be like them. If they judge this by the human aspect, they are right. But those who have been called and instructed by the Master of masters have something they need. On the one hand, it is good that family members have one foot back concerning our work in God, because if they start praising us, perhaps we might leave the divine presence and do the work because of what they say.
Everything that Jesus said came from the Father and should be received with joy; after all, He speaks the truth. When studying the Bible, observe what will be revealed to you, because such a moment is precious to God. As you learn the Lord’s will, consider it a commandment and obey it. You will be loved!
In Christ, with love,

God, Lifter of the prophets! In the past, so that Your purpose might be accomplished, You bore witness through the prophets. But sometimes, the people did not accept Your indication and rebelled against You, as it happened in Nazareth on that day!
People, to this day, become religious. We see this occurring in the Gospel. New converts have to learn to live from Your Word, running away from the talk of the religious, who will trap them in their vain doctrines - without Biblical foundation.
When Nazareth rejected the testimony of Your Son, He soon left for other villages and announced the Truth there. Your power confirmed the preaching with the signs that followed Your Law of freedom. Nothing will stop us from serving You!
