When a child of God decides to do something forbidden, the Lord insists that he leave such path. But if he continues to sin, God silences Himself with sadness in His heart (Proverbs 29.1). At this point, such a person doesn’t realize the silence of the heavenly Father and comes to think that he and God are the same. Why does man act outside biblical guidance if the end will be his eternal damnation? Stop, reflect, and return to God!
Even if the Most High remains silent, the transgressor has a sense that he is not well with the kind of life he leads, for the Holy Spirit shows him that his behavior will lead him to the abyss (John 16.8). In his crazy walk, he, who sees his joy vanish, is rebuked constantly (Psalms 32.3,4; 51.3). Then, instead of turning back, he lets sin take control of his life. Poor citizen! He is headed for a sad end!
To think that the Lord approves of bad behavior – and that the person committing it is special and will never be bothered – shows that you have been taken in by deception. Whoever loves himself and desires to live in the divine presence now and always awakens, evaluates the way he lives and returns to the Kingdom of God, as did the prodigal young man: I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you (Luke 15.18).
The Lord wishes to dialogue with those who wish to return to the father’s house, by saying: “Come now, and let us reason together,” says the Lord. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool (Isaiah 1.18). Why not respond to the heavenly invitation, if the alternatives are: go to heaven or to perdition?
He who speaks against his brother condemns his parents as bad parents. Now, if a family member acts badly, it’s as if he has been inflicted with an incurable disease. The parents, or himself, are not to blame for the fact that there is a tempter who sends afflictions against people. Don’t blame anyone, because the devil is the author of evil. Learn: Jesus paid our bill, and today, we are set free by faith in Him.
To slander the person who came from the same source that created you is to err completely. There is no point in inventing that someone has committed a crime just because you suspect it. Help the fallen and never tread on his head so that he falls faster down the cliff: but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh (Jude 1.23). Believe in Jesus is the way!
Instead of slandering your brother, bend your knee and intercede for him. If he insists on this dead-end path, the suffering he is choosing will never leave him free from condemnation. We are commanded to free the oppressed, heal the blind, and proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord (Luke 4.18,19). We are to be instruments of the Lord, using the Name of Jesus to rebuke the evil force.
In Christ, with love,

Lord of the slandered! Whoever has been accused of committing any crime unjustly can hope in You, for You have the righteous justice that can lead him to be acknowledge as innocent!
You are the Author of justice, that’s why the devil, who likes to lie about people and cause disorder for those who live in Your presence, will not stand when the accused stands up and calls on Your holy name. Give freedom to those who are slandered!
Those who need justice will find it in faith in Jesus. They will see Your hand deliver them from the fraud created and spread by the evil one. You are just and will do what is necessary to reveal the innocent and the guilty. Father, thank You!
