The Church longs for the day when its members will be used by the Lord as He used Jesus. But we have yet to be transformed by His power. If we are not one Body with Christ, we will hinder the plans of Heaven. The man without discipline and the servant without vision will do his own will, and not God’s. That would be chaos! We are not praying yet: Even so, come, Lord Jesus! (Revelation 22.20b).
The Most High has set watchmen over His work, and they will not cry out before the time (Ezekiel 3.17). The members of the Body of Christ must belong to Him indeed, and not the “enlightened ones” who promote themselves, as if they owned the revelation. As long as these teachers, doctors and wise men do not understand John the Baptist’s statement, the watchmen will not open their mouths. Upon hearing about the deeds of Jesus, John said: He must increase, but I must decrease (John 3.30).
The watchmen on the mountains of Ephraim live desolate lives, because the message for all to fulfill the Lord’s purpose could not yet be delivered. The men of God do not understand that the work is not theirs. To do it with pompous displays and personal promotion is of no use. The work that was prepared before the foundation of the world must be accomplished in this generation (Ephesians 1.4), as Jesus demonstrated in His days here on Earth (1 Peter 1.20).
The order will be given, and everyone will arise as a well-organized army, each one conscious of the mission to be accomplished. Then the world will be surprised. We must put a stop to the aspirations and desires of the heart and seek true conversion. See Peter’s answer to the paralytic at the Beautiful Gate: Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk (Acts 3.6). We lack power!
May God help us to let Him lift us up to go up to Zion, David’s fortress! The beloved king was strengthening himself there, seeking the Lord and going out to win his wars. You see, we talk much and do little. We must surrender to the Man of War, who will lead us beside still waters (Psalm 23.1,2). But the people despised them, cheering Rezin and the son of Remaliah, who got together to attack Judah (Isaiah 8.6). This is a time for conversion!
The Church needs to go up to Zion and strengthen itself for the battles to come. Hell is already preparing for when the Antichrist appears (1 John 2:18,22; 4:3; 2 John 1:7). This spirit is in the world and contaminates many servants of the Lord. The Scriptures say: Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition (2 Thessalonians 2.3).
Those who have the wisdom of God cannot stand idly by. The facts that Jeremiah saw occurred just as told. We need to go up to Zion, to the Lord our God, and not to promote ourselves and do our best. The Most High knows why he has called us and what the plan is for us. We will go up to Zion, if we diminish ourselves for Him to be magnified!
In Christ, with love,

God of the watchers! We are alarmed at what will come against Your Church, but You are the Lord, and that comforts us. Our position must be secure in You. Then Your work will not suffer harm through our fault. We want to please You and serve You in everything!
Let the waters of Siloam not be despised by anyone! Your love must prevail. Father, command us to serve You, to be exalted and honored as You have declared. You are the Reason for our calling; so, enable us to fulfill it!
Prepare us for when the watchmen cry out, commanding us to arise and go up to Zion. Your warning signal cannot be ignored, and we must understand that we are part of Your plan. Let us be like Abraham, Your friend and servant!
