And He came and preached peace to you who were afar off and to those who were near.  Ephesians 2.17

The Son of God came to give us life in abundance (John 10.10), and one of the tidings He brought was peace. After all, the yoke that was upon us would be broken, the devil would lose his ability to oppress us, and we would have peace with God. Today, nothing can separate us from the love of God (Romans 8.35-39), but we must believe in the Lord, seek and live-in peace with God and mankind (Romans 12.18). We are the people called to do God’s will on Earth!

All Jesus taught and did was to evangelize peace. By reading the account of His words and deeds, we soon learn the difference between evil and good, between God and the devil. By this we lead the lost to change their lives. Faith, which is of utmost importance to the saved, comes by the simple fact of hearing – listening and answering – to what is revealed by the Holy Spirit in the Bible (John 6.63b; Romans 10.17). God still speaks through His sovereign Word.

The purpose of Christ’s coming and His consequent death is to lead everyone to perfect and eternal salvation (John 3.16). It is clear from the Gospels that the Most High gives the lost the opportunity to be saved. This fact is the most sublime of all. You see, whoever accepts Him as Savior and Lord receives the power to become a child of the eternal Father. We cannot believe that there is anyone who refuses such an honor!

To God, it doesn’t matter which church you go to, or how wrong you were before you were in Christ. What is to be taken into account is the commitment of the Creator, who will never nullify the promises of His lips. With Christ, we are to be unconcerned and restful about the events of the Last Day. After all, He said: And I will raise him up at the last day (John 6.44b). We were saved to live in peace, not at war with the Lord!

On the cross, the Savior fulfilled what he was evangelizing, telling everyone that the important thing was to draw near to God and receive what He had provided. Yes, Christ paid so that our sins could be forgiven and we could have peace with God (Romans 5.1). Therefore, nothing more has to be done for us to live free from the traps and curses of Hell. Everything you needed to enjoy eternal life was provided in Jesus’ death. Accept Him!

The prophet Isaiah received the revelation of what would occur in the death of the Son of God on behalf of mankind. He summed it up by saying that truly He took upon Himself our pains and our infirmities, our transgressions and our iniquities. The chastisement for our peace peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:4,5). This is a fact that should gladden your heart. Be delivered from the evil kingdom!

Believe and you will live forever; believe and your pain will be destroyed where you stand. The devil can no longer oppress you. When you put your faith in Christ, you will receive authority to cast out the evil that afflicts you. Stand up at this moment and give your command, sending every problem out of your life, in Jesus’ name!

In Christ, with love,

R. R. Soares

Father, Evangelizer of peace! It is good to hear that Jesus delivered us from the works of darkness by suffering them in His own body in our place. Now, no evil will remain in us, because the price cannot be paid twice. We are truly free!

He announced before going to the cross, that You would send Him to announce liberty to the captives, the opening of the prison of the oppressed, and the end of the separation that existed between You and man. Now we must praise and glorify Your majestic Name!

What can the evil one do to the man who hears the message of the Gospel and believes in Your Word? This message must be spread to everyone, from far or near, it doesn't matter. Then they will be delivered from the forces of the kingdom of evil!
