He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters.  Psalm 23:2

In saying: The LORD is my shepherd (Psalm 23:1), David was more than revealing why he counted on divine favor at all times. Having been used as a prophet, he showed us in a simple way how to live well and be victorious in everything. When the Most High is our Shepherd, we lack nothing. This sounds like a cry from God to let Him rule us, for this is the only way we will be happy.

David showed himself to be positive in faith, without ever crediting the Lord for something sad. After all, the Almighty only does good things. Surely from the Source of good nothing bad and poisonous will sprout. Try to understand the Word and ask for wisdom from on high. Then you will know how to extract from Heaven what is necessary to be successful and be sure of salvation.

The young shepherd of Israel was compared to the sheep of his family, which were under his care. As a responsible guide, he sought to lead them to green pastures, where they would eat the best. He believed that God led him in this same way. What kind of faith in Christ have you developed? Have you obeyed the commandments which have been revealed? Attention: you dictate the way you live!

See how your life has been and confirm if the Lord is your Shepherd and if you have given Him the due importance. Examine whether you really love those who are by your side, or whether they are simply an object in your hands. You must see your children grow in stature, wisdom, and the fear of God. If He is in charge of your home, you will lead them well. For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; (Luke 12:48).

Whoever pays a high price to survive, or sometimes uses dishonest means to get something, does not allow the Most High to guide them. God never writes correctly through crooked lines. For Him everything has to be pure and full of virtue. Never assume anything that the devil shows you, because he is a liar and only wants your destruction here and in eternity. Stay alert!

Our waters must be still, without suffering or enemies. Reject the traps of the kingdom of darkness. Respect the good of others, and yours will be respected. Do unto your neighbor what you would have them do to you. Whoever is led by the Good Shepherd is courteous, kind, and loving. To live with God is to be out the wicked one´s reach!

In the presence of the Most High, you will be well nourished and satiated with the best, for just like our Pastor, the Lord takes pleasure in continually leading us in triumph. You have every chance of winning. Just fear God and do good to your neighbor.

In Christ with love,

Oh father! It is wonderful to have Your guidance and protection at all times. We know nothing of the spirit world, but everything is naked and clear before Your sight. Therefore, we can rest assured, because You will take care of those who  love You.

You show us in the Scriptures the best pasture, in which we can eat the best. Thus, we are well fed and strengthened to do Thy will. We do not want to be defeated by evil.

We can be guided quietly into still waters, where we will be watered and relieved of our burdens. The love of Your Name Makes You love us this way. Therefore, in Your Name, we will be in peace!
