Then the lambs shall feed in their pasture and in the waste places of the [i]fat ones strangers shall eat. Isaiah 5.17

The most important event for mankind will be the second coming of Jesus. After that, everything around here will come to an end. The Word states: But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up (2 Peter 3:10). This will happen whether man accepts it or not. Not even dictators, with their power, will stop the Lord. Pray!

Peter says that a new universe will be created. Thus, things will be undone in such a way that there won´t even be a memory of the now: Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells (2 Peter 3:13). It is fundamental that we learn the revelations of the Word, for things will be remade in Him, by Him and for Him. The divine Word will continue to be our Food for eternity (Revelations 7:16,17).

We must guard ourselves against the ideas and speeches of those who do not fear God, as Peter warned us: You therefore, beloved, since you know this beforehand, beware lest you also fall from your own steadfastness, being led away with the error of the wicked; (2 Peter 3:17). Jesus warned us: And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved (Matthew 10:22).

To persevere, more than being an attitude of the heart, means to live in a holy and undefiled way, in order to stay away from the “abominable”, as the Scriptures declare: Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless (2 Peter 3:14). After we have accepted the Savior, it´s good to walk in an upright manner so that we are not bound to those who will go into eternal fire (Matthew 25:41).

In eternity, God’s lambs will feed according to the custom acquired here, in the “green pastures”. But what will those who refuse to listen to the Lord do? It´s best to persevere in the pastures where there is good food, without any kind of poison or contamination, and forget about any matter heard, remaining only with the Bible. This food will last forever (John 4:36; 6:27).

Drink the Water provided by God, for He is the true Source: but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.” (John 4:14). The fields of the “fat ones” (wise in their own eyes, ignorant of what is good, pretending to be learned) are like deserts, where there is nothing. Serve God with joy and renunciation!

Reject being amongst outsiders, because such spirits are estranged from God. However, the true servant will always be blessed. The saved will have no need for anything – Bread or Water – because the Manna that springs from the pulpits during the services has the properties they need. Be the Lord’s delight; after all, He saved you for that!

In Christ, with love,

Father, who supplies Your lambs! It´s good to be at Your table, for there we are fed by You. Your Bread enables us to live in the deserts of this world, without lacking any ingredient necessary for life. Thank You for this blessed Food!

We are the young lambs, and we are pleased to hear You. We can never imitate the lost. Use us to rescue as many as possible from condemnation, which will come to those who do not love You. Deliver them from the lies of the god of this world. Mercy!

About to enter adulthood, we need to graze where there is good food. Thus, we will love and serve You as You wish. We are grateful that You choose us and guide us under Your eyes. Make us stay on the Path of life. You are faithful!
