And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28

Here is the first thing we should have in mind in every situation: God, the Creator of all things, is sovereign. The enemy can’t face Him! After He died on the cross, Jesus went to hell by himself, fought Satan and defeated him, taking back the power he had stolen from man. The accuser has been defeated forever: Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it. (Colossians 2:15).

The Lord has promises for those who believe in Him and hide under His wings (Psalm 91:4). Under His protection, no evil can come against us. Therefore, we should trust in Him, because later we will realize we were protected by the Most High in every moment. We don’t need to fear evil threats. The Lord is by our side fighting the battles!

Everything that happens, good or bad, contributes for our growth. No matter the situation, all things work together for the good of those who love God. The Lord knows what we need and He will guard those who trust in His infinite mercy. Therefore, believe in God, who is faithful to fulfill His promises.

Both good and bad things that happen to us, under God’s permission, contribute for our good. In the end, we will realize He is doing the same He did with Job: He will give back double portion of what the devil took from us. It is time to trust in the Lord. Circumstances shouldn’t pull us away from His presence, because when we are in Him and He is in us, we are strong!

All who’ve experienced salvation were called to the Kingdom of God by His decree. If we obey His orders, His grace and truth will guard us everywhere we go. Abraham lived in peace until his last day, although he faced some tough situations such as in Egypt, when Pharaoh wanted to take Sarah to be his wife (Genesis 20:4).

The Hebrews who were taken to captivity in Babylon lived there for 70 years because the offended the Lord. God used prophets, especially Jeremiah, to warn them about what would happen in the future. Since they didn’t make things right, they ended up under the power of Nebuchadnezzar; however, their faith was unnegotiable. They didn’t fear the burning furnace or the lion’s den!

Don’t fear what is still to come because the Lord is above all. We belong to Him and we’re guarded by His power. Those who serve Him will never stumble before the enemy, because the evil one can’t touch a single hair in their head. To God be all the glory!

In Christ, with love,

Dr. Soares

Dear Lord! We can lift our head up and take Your blessing to the lost world! We won’t ever fall back or stop doing the work that was entrusted to us. You are our strength, inspiration and protection!

If we are successful, we should rejoice and praise You, our Creator. But if situations aren’t favorable, we shouldn’t worry about the attacks from the evil one because You will guard us!

Thank You for silencing our heart, leading us to believe in Your infinite goodness. That way, we will be more and more used by You, and You will prove that Your power is enough to deliver us from the attacks of darkness. Hallelujah!
