And this continued for two years, so that all who dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks. Acts 19.10

The greatest purpose of the Lord for humanity is that they hear His Word.  This was completely fulfilled by Paul when he obeyed the instructions to leave Corinth and go to Ephesus.  In the same manner, the Most High takes us to some places where we never thought or imagined going, or places people in touch with us to take them to the understanding of the Truth.  This is the only means of their being converted and saved.

Paul’s journey to Ephesus, his whipping in the public square and the confusion brought up by the Jews against his mission in the synagogue of that city were well worth it for this way he could give all the people that were there a testimony concerning the will of God.  The apostle spoke of the sacrifice of Jesus in favor of man during His death on the cross.  He was not ashamed of the Gospel, for it is the power of God for the salvation of Jews as well as gentiles (Romans 1:16).

In spite of the problems that we face in God’s mission, all is part of His plan and script.  If the Almighty sends us to some place it is there that He will use us.  For this reason we must live in holiness as the Bible prescribes, for there is nothing worse than to give somebody a motive to stray from the Truth or resist hearing the Word.  Live in such a manner so as not to cause scandal against anyone.

God’s plans are different than ours.  If we do not have His direction we will not achieve the success He has determined.  Alas, the Heavenly Father planned many good things for us to enjoy on our journey to Heaven.  Therefore, be prepared to avoid allowing the devil to boast in having defeated or hurt you for any attitude that you took.

Stay alert and do not let the enemy discourage you.  When Paul arrived where God had sent him, he found only twelve disciples that seemed to have no spiritual life at all.  Nevertheless, having conducted them to be baptized in the Holy Spirit, the apostle grew with excitement.  In men’s eyes, that did not mean anything, but since the Lord is wise, in no time, Paul spread the Gospel successfully to all that region of Asia.

God wanted to give that glory to His servant, who was the right man sent by the Almighty to a place filled with sorcery, witchcraft and black magic.  This is how you must always feel, for wherever He takes you, you will do great things.  Do not be fooled by the lies of the enemy, but confident in the promises of the Lord be willing and ready to fulfill successfully your noble mission.

The success that had been planned by the Lord did not delay in appearing.  In two years, even without the modern comforts such as electricity, vehicles and sound equipment, Paul was able to make all hear the Word.  With God your victory will be inevitable.  When the Most High acts, the devil always loses.  Halleluiah!

In Christ, with Love,

Lord! Master Planner and Executor of goodness!  You took Paul to Ephesus because you loved him and had a mission for him where the enemy had disseminated demonic arts.  Paul would have an immeasurable success for having obeyed You!

What matters is to take the Word to everyone,  anointed by the Spirit and display of Your power.  Man’s soul must be enlightened by Your light, in order for all to benefit from your love and goodness.

The deceived by the devil abandoned evil as soon as they heard Your servant. They saw your signs, prodigies and wonders.  You have a right to shine your light on those that are in darkness by using those that You choose.
