31/03/2022 - BEYOND THE LIMITS OF DIVINE PATIENCE

So the LORD became angry with Solomon, because his heart had turned from the LORD God of Israel, who had appeared to him twice.   1 Kings 11:9

Woe to those who let themselves be led by the lies of the devil, living dissolutely. The day will come when we will have to give an account of our deeds. We cannot give in to the sweet words of some people used by the enemy, who do not have the fear of God in their heart. The wise king thought that it was okay to have relationships with the women who crossed his path, but the Lord was about to give him the last chance.

The Most High is benign, of good character. Even though you have strayed from His presence, He does not want your doom. The Father knows what eternal suffering will be like, and once you have fallen there, no one will be taken out. In the lake of fire and brimstone, there will be no Holy Spirit to lead those who are there to repentance, because that phase is only on Earth. Seek forgiveness now. Whoever does not get right with Jesus will never get a second chance. Be wise!

If God’s patience runs out on a person, they are in trouble. The Lord is longsuffering and gives several opportunities for the sinner to repent. If he does not seek forgiveness and continues in error, one day he will hear from God, “Enough!” (Proverbs 29:1). Then it will be useless to pray. The prophet Samuel prayed on behalf of Saul, but the Lord said that He had chosen someone else to reign over His people (1 Samuel 16:1). And so David reigned!

God is not moved by words, but by our faith in His Word. A man’s request does not change God’s decision. Belshazzar, son of Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, did not humble himself, even though he knew what had happened to his father, who lived in the pasture and ate grass with the oxen. He took the utensils from the holy temple in Jerusalem and used them to serve wine to his father and others of his court. Therefore, the hand of the Lord wrote condemnation on the wall (Daniel 5:1-4).

No one knew the meaning of the words Mene, Mene, Tekel, Upharsin. The prophet Daniel translated them as follows: God has numbered your kingdom, and finished it; You have been weighed in the balances, and found wanting; Your kingdom has been divided, and given to the Medes and Persians (Daniel 5:26-28). When a person acts wrongly to the point of exceeding the limit of God’s patience, just as in the episode of King Belshazzar, the divine hand will write the message that they will not be expecting. Get right with the Father now!

The Almighty was angry with Solomon. Some people fall into the same temptation as this king, because they despise God’s guidance and decide to follow temporary things. Later, as a consequence, they will suffer far from God’s presence, in the lake of burning fire. Billions of years from now, they will be there. Do they really care about themselves?

Twice, God appeared to the king whom He made the wisest, but Solomon listened to the devil. Why do some allow themselves to be deceived by so little? Even if the enemy offered the gold of the whole world and other riches, eternal life would not be worth losing. Spending just one day under eternal suffering would already be a huge loss. Believe in the Lord!

In Christ, with love,

God and Father! We want to have You with us, being worthy of Your nature, which is love. Our life came from You, that we might walk with You and be happy. That is the purpose for which You made us in Your image and likeness.

Why should man walk outside Your plan, if he was made to be complete in You? Always gives us of the Bread that nourishes us and truly fulfills Your Word. We cannot live on appearances, enjoying the wrong things. Help us, Lord!

Many have mistaken themselves regarding the purpose for which they were created. But we don't want to err, we want to rejoice in You, persevering on the Path and acting in the right way. We are happy to know and love You. Thank You, Friend!
