Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16

The throne of grace is not that of judgment, but yes where the lost find the forgiveness of their sins, abolition of their slavery and power to live, in dignity, the salvation afforded through Calvary, when Jesus paid the highest price and saved humanity from eternal destruction.  To come to him, people from all parts have free admission.  Those who take it up will be delivered from eternal condemnation.  God is perfect in His works!

There is no reason to fear reaching for this throne.  Even if the sinner is of the worst kind, the blood of Jesus, shed on that cross, will give him the right to salvation, if he believes.  Therefore, confidently, seek the Lord, because He will deliver you from all engagement with evil.  Those who want cleansing of their sins are welcome to receive such purification and power over the kingdom of evil.

The arrival at the divine throne is achieved with conviction, which is acquired on listening to the Word.  In this manner, you may approach the Father, who planned every good for His people.  However, if you have not truly surrendered to Him and not confessed your transgressions you must first do this.  If there is sin in your heart, you cannot come before the most holy God.

In this high place, you will find grace and with this your record will be set clean.  Pour out your soul before Him, telling Him about everything you have ever done wrong, and take up the divine mercy, receiving the fullness of the Holy Spirit.  Only then you will be equipped in the best way to be used by the Almighty to fight His battles. 

After finding mercy and grace, change your way of praying.  Don’t continue to say that you are in sin and need help if you have already received it.  All that we have asked God has been given us.  Why keep talking about something that has already been given to us?  More is expected from one who has received forgiveness from the Lord.  One needs not return to the throne of the Lord to obtain what has already been gotten.

At the right moment you will come to the presence of God to be assisted.  This is the opportune time when you can count on the heavenly Father.  But do not ever pray with a heavy heart, even if your world is falling apart.  The Almighty loves you and wants to make a true and a complete son out of you in Christ Jesus.  Serve Him with a heart full of joy and thankfulness.  After all, if you have reached mercy and grace there is no more reason for tears.

What more can you expect from the Almighty if you have received mercy and grace? Well, now is the time to be an instrument to be used by Him and certainly you will be.  He will conduct you only in victory.  Life with Christ is not like the life we lived before, when the enemy’s filthy offers were accepted by us.  God is the Lord of our life.
