But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth.  2 Thessalonians 2:13

The Word tells us to give thanks to God for all the saved, for they certainly defeated the darkness and entered forever into the Kingdom of light. Although they were chosen for salvation, many will not decide themselves in time, and will be lost eternally. There is nothing a man can do to be saved except to accept Jesus as Savior and Lord.

The expression that we are beloved brethren in Christ makes us important in the eyes of the Most High. Since I was young, I heard many saved ones calling themselves miserable forgiven sinners – something I did not accept. In fact, before we were saved, we were those kind of people, but now, we are beloved brethren in the Lord, and that means a lot. Besides, we are God’s heirs and co-heirs with Jesus. Halleluiah!

We must be certain about our right to heal any sickness in the soul, body or spirit. After all, our pains and infirmities were placed upon the Son of God, and by His wounds, we were healed. Everything that is in us must bless the holy Name of the Lord (Psalm 103:1). We participate with the Redeemer in His afflictions, and therefore we will reign with Him now and for all eternity. 

Salvation includes the right of forgiveness for the moral weaknesses and sins. It does not matter what someone may have been before as a servant of the kingdom of darkness. Once he is saved, he is forgiven and made righteous in Jesus, our Lord. We do not have to submit to the enemy’s wishes. There is no longer any condemnation for us, since we are in Christ (Romans 8:1). Strive in Him!

When we reach salvation, we must expect for an improvement in our financial conditions, for the Word of God guarantees to bless us in this way as well (Malachi 3:10). Salvation involves this kind of success as well, for the blessing of the Lord makes one rich and adds no sorrow to it (Proverbs 10:22). Furthermore, the Omnipotent declares that He is pleased with the prosperity of His children (Psalm 35:27). Therefore, do not believe in Satan’s lies, which say that you will please God living in scarcity.

We can live without fear of any evil oppression. There is not even one biblical declaration saying that we will fail in our daily struggles. On the contrary, the Scriptures say that in all things, we will be successful. Our victory is guaranteed by God; therefore, we do not need to fear the threats from Satan. No weapon formed against us will prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

The work of the Lord in us is to sanctify us by His Spirit and belief in the Truth. We have been prepared to do exactly what He tells us, having the heavenly assurance that no door in Hell will hinder the Church to march victoriously. Halleluiah!
