Therefore David ran and stood over the Philistine, took his sword and drew it out of its sheath and killed him, and cut off his head with it. And when the Philistines saw that their champion was dead, they fled. 1 Samuel 17:51

David was not fighting out of fear, but in the Name of the Lord. So he did not fear that the Philistine’s downfall was a strategy so that when he shouted, “Victory!” the giant would stand up to kill him. He who acts by faith never misses the opportunity to do the divine will. Having been touched by the Most High, the believer must enter into battle with great confidence and come out of it victorious.

Upon hearing the curses of the giant, David cried out that on that very day the Lord would deliver him into his hands. The moment he saw the Philistine running towards him, he hastened toward him, and when he saw the giant fall, he stood on top of his adversary. The hero of God never backs down because he knows that the positive outcome is only guaranteed when the enemy is annihilated. The Most High is faithful!

Young David did not doubt his success. He wanted everyone to know the battle was won. Only the fall of the enemy can get us out of the fight. The messenger of God knows that he must be fearless to complete the work. If your heart does not beat in the same beat of the Holy Spirit, you may lose to the enemy. The battle belongs to God and His people, so you must only accept victory!

The future king of Israel stepped on his enemy, took the fearsome sword that the Philistine was using, took it out of its sheath and calmly and steady, he used it to behead the terror of the Israelites. What could the philistines do when they saw their hero dead? In order to have complete victory, we must annihilate the darkness that rules over countries and lead those people to sin.

Standing before thousands of countrymen, David killed the one who humiliated s people. Thus, the Philistines felt that their end was near. The enemies of Israel were doomed to failure, for they did not believe in the Almighty God. David knew that very well. Whoever does not serve the only and true Lord has no support in his actions!

The Philistines were surprised by that outcome. But, as is often the case with all those who place their faith in man, or in a god created by man, when they need help, they will see that their wicked attitude has caused their failure. The fanatic of any religion or cult, sooner or later, will be desperate, because their “champion” will show up without any power. However, those who wait on the Lord, shall inherit the earth (Psalm 37:9). To God be the glory!

The Philistines fled in despair, for they saw that their confidence had been defeated. There is only one God and Father of all, who has no favorites, but honors those who believe in Him. Why not look for Him now? He loves you and wants to make you successful!

In Christ, with love,

Lord! The faith You give to Your servants is far greater than they can think, for it has Your ability to help us carry out the work as You would if You were here.

David rejoiced when looking at the "invincible" fallen giant. The future king did not tremble when he came near Goliath, because his fall meant that the battle had already been won. When the demon stumbles, victory is certain.

When our enemies see their leader defeated, they will also flee from us, for they know that You are working in our favor. Let no Christian be deceived by the evil one. When You act, we are more than conquerors!!
