Praise awaits you, our God, in Zion; to you our vows will be fulfilled. Psalm 65.1

People who learn how to deal with human beings and use that wisdom can apply for any job in life. Those who do what they want, on the other hand, will never see the reward for their efforts, even in faith in Christ. Jesus said: Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does (John 5.19). This is a lesson for all of us. Those who obey the Lord will never be defeated, in any battle.

Looking from the natural aspect, it can be said that it is practically impossible that David participated in countless wars and was never even wounded in one of them. The shepherd king’s secret is revealed in his writings, for no one neither before nor after him was as successful in any war as he was. Biblical examples are to be learned and imitated. Whoever acts accordingly will also know no defeat.

A good salesperson doesn’t sell bad products or products with poor durability, because he knows that he will lose the customer sooner than later, but presents his merchandise with sincerity, without deception. He who is a liar or a cheat doesn’t succeed in what he does. He who lives in error is always facing problems, because a deceived person warns others. The worst is that he cannot count on divine help in anything.

Every servant of the Lord must learn from David, who decided to walk uprightly: I will be careful to lead a blameless life— when will you come to me? (Psalm 101.2). God’s way is straight, it has no curves or shortcuts and sometimes it seems to take longer. But it is the only one where people will not go wrong, nor be taken by discouragement or by some demon.

Besides being sincere before the Almighty, the Christian must learn the clues left by the Lord between the lines of His Word and present them to Him when praying. What promotes us in the Father’s presence is the way we present ourselves to Him, based on the examples in the Scriptures. Dishonest people need to know that the best visiting card is honesty in everything; then comes sympathy, sincerity and friendship. Be a friend to your customer!

David was king of the Israelites and their shepherd at the same time; therefore, he always kept them in God’s presence. His braves ones came out of the battles unscathed, because they didn’t neglect their communion with the Most High. In the Bible, the Lord has given proof that He loves to help His servants by entering the battle when it is already known that all will give up. A divine touch make us come back and win!

Besides showing that praise was waiting for the Lord in Zion, which symbolized the Church in those days, the psalmist assured that the vows would be paid to God at the great gathering. It´s sad to see holy people walking aimlessly, praying for prayer, pleading for the holy presence of the Almighty and not seeing Him manifest Himself at the moments prepared for Him. Now, Jesus has promised to be with us until the end of the age (Matthew 28.20). Do you believe?

In Christ, with love,

God, for Whom praise awaits! Our congregation is ready to see You at our side, fighting for us! Then, on the way home, at the gathering of Your people, you will see that praise will be waiting for You. Lord! We want to see the Savior!

We take great comfort in knowing that You will be with us when we pass through the waters, for they will not submerge us. If we must pass through the fire, it will not burn us, nor will one of the sparks set our clothes on fire. O God, receive all worship!

We don’t give up Your presence, in our gathering of faith. To You will be paid every vow made by Your people. We don't want to use intermediaries, nor let the devil call the shots. We thank You for receiving the praise dedicated to You!
