Village life ceased, it ceased in Israel, Until I, Deborah, arose, Arose a mother in Israel. Judges 5:7

When respect for God is gone, and people begin to venture into the world of dark forces, whose commander is the devil, problems start to arise. There are those who are attracted to spiritual matters towards the evil side. After all, since Satan does not demand holiness, and even despises this word, temptations fascinate man without divine light. But the price of this adventure will be expensive.

One of the signs that things are bad for humanity in the spiritual realm is seen by the wars and confusion around the world. Most people live badly, but get used to it. To “improve” life, some commit small crimes. Now, whether they are small or large, they make them the servant of the devil. Where the Word does not reign, there is every kind of curtailment and oppression.

In the days of Deborah as a judge in Israel, the people had stopped obeying the Scriptures, so many kinds of disturbances arose. In our day, similar situations have occurred. Many have no appreciation for the Bible or seek the face of the Most High. So we see a lot of disrespect for others. The way out is to preach the Gospel, and whoever is converted will serve as an example to follow.

At that time the spiritual cooling was so great that even the faithful, whose pleasure was to walk with God, walked crooked paths. This has been the case with many children of believers, who leave the presence of God and walk the paths of sin, in some cases committing crimes. A lot of people don’t see a big deal about their kids going to clubs, bars and nightclubs.

The practice of iniquity hindered progress in the Promised Land, and with this no new villages were created. The situation was alarming due to the problems. Today, the spiritual position of those who do not seek the Lord is critical and supports what He hates, such as divorce, fornication, and debauchery. Has God changed and now approves transgressions, or is the devil deceiving millions? The second option is the correct one. Mercy!

Deborah saw that the cause of so much adversity was the sin of rulers, delivered to all kinds of malfeasance, as we have recently seen in our country. Here, suddenly, it looked like a nation at civil war. On every side were people wielding weapons in the so-called trawler, as well as acts of corruption by those elected to take care of the public good. May God lead us to true freedom!

As a mother in Israel, Deborah arose, and with her the Lord raised Barak and ten thousand men. Jabin, the king of Canaan, oppressed the Israelites for 20 years (Judges 4:3), but seeing Barak with his “army,” things changed. He went on foot with ten thousand men to fight Sisera, his 900 iron chariots and thousands of soldiers, and beat him (Judg. 4: 12-15).

In Christ, with love,

Lord: Arise as God! The enemy is destroying our youth, taking away their purity and leading them into the devil's crooked ways. We do not accept this and believe that You will give us the victory. We claim it now!

May prosperity come and, along with it, fear of Thee. We need Your love and Your presence. We were already breathing the air of the prostitution dens that filled our home via TV, radio, and social media. We want to purify ourselves!

Sangar was a bad judge because he let the people do what they thought was best. Therefore, evil entered all sectors in Israel at that time. But when Deborah said yes to You and rose up as the mother of the Israelite nation, Your people defeated the kingdom of darkness.
