You have delivered me from the strivings of the people; You have made me the head of the nations; A people I have not known shall serve me.  Psalm 18:43

Those who distance themselves from the Kingdom of God live surrounded by strife, problems and temptations and, by themselves, cannot be freed. Unfortunately, there are Christians acting like the lost and, because they ignore the Truth, they accept such adversities as normal, saying they cannot escape them. Now, where is the difference between the righteous and the wicked? (Malachi 3:18) We make a difference!

There are a variety of disagreements going on around the world, from petty attitude, plentiful among the lost, to emotional or sexual abuse within the homes. All of this has its origin in the devil, who wants to kill, steal and destroy humanity (John 10: 10a). To make matters worse, such absurdities are veiled even by authorities. With a little “financial incentive”, they turn a blind eye to all kinds of mistakes.

However, the Lord promises to deliver those who trust in Him as long as they choose to free themselves from evil oppressions. Jesus said that the Truth sets you free (John 8:32). To come to know it, one must become His disciple, and this happens when one stays in the Word (John 8:31, 32). One must be in God’s house, listening and believing the Scriptures to be truly free.

Christ spoke of Satan´s kingdom, saying that he would never fight against himself, for if he did, he would perish (Mark 3:26). However, imperceptibly, the enemy uses his servants to attack those that are saved, making all sorts of proposals. Amazingly, despite the biblical warnings, some get carried away by these lies. These people become defendants of Hell!

The Bible says we must be faithful unto death, because on the last Day we will receive the crown of life from the righteous Lord (Revelation 2:10). According to the verse presented, David was made head of the nations. That’s true! In his day he ruled; but this statement also refers to Jesus. The Master became the King of kings and Lord of lords. We have to deal with everything with Him!

The verse still says: A people I have not known will serve me. Again, this part refers to our Savior. Now we are gentiles by the flesh, but true children of God, ready to serve Him in a pleasing and pure way. We must be fortified in the faith and grace of the eternal King. There is no way we can be deceived by evil. There´s an unknown people who are now doing the work of the Lord!

Start destroying every feud that attacks you. Your place in Christ gives you the prerogative of doing the same works He did (John 14:12). Never let sin into you, but with love and dedication, set out for victory over all evil deeds.

In Christ, with love,

Lord! Before we knew You, we were not Your people. But now, once we accepted Jesus as our Savior and Lord, we have received the power to become Your children. Thus, we no longer serve the devil!

You have delivered David from the enemy´s strife. Therefore, we will also be free, because there is no way for the devil to oppress us, doing his evil deeds in our lives. Now we command all discords that surrounds us to cease.

Although we do not understand everything we need to know, we have the information that Jesus is the Head of the nations; so we are the head of our family, of the prayer group and of those you have given us. We are happy to be Your servants. Amen!
