My soul also is greatly troubled; But You, O Lord—how long? Psalm 6:3

The effortless attitude before a failure is like a confession of one who surrenders to the devil´s plan, for, even though you have gone too far and you feel there is no more turning back, the Father is ready to restore you and make you go back to the position of dignity from which you should have never left. Seize the opportunity to start again that which the Lord is giving you. Then, with the experience you have acquired with pain, don’t be a failure anymore.

If your soul is disturbed then you are not in communion with God. Since He doesn’t make an error nor is He evil, the error is in you. There is nothing better than asking the Most High why this has been happening and follow His instruction. If you remain like you are, you will be eternally lost, but, if you accept and surrender before divine sovereignty, you will be free and used in great works.

Even the most consecrated people had difficult moments, and some fell just like David. But this man did not remain silent and, when he saw how much he had erred, he confessed his sin and composed many psalms that have been of great help for others who also fell. You might have lost a battle, but not the war. Israel lost the battle of Ai, but they made things right and, afterwards, set off to conquer the promised Canaan.

The devil draws a plan and sets out to accomplish it. However, it is up to the Christian not to accept it. If perhaps you have fallen into the trap of the evil one, come before the presence of God and confess your error. Afterwards, make things right with the person you have harmed. Otherwise, your life will continue in the hands of the enemy. Your decision will determine what will happen to you: good or bad. Be wise and rejoice the Lord´s heart, for He offers your forgiveness.

When you lie, it is as if you repeated your sin. Those who don’t have the courage to admit they were the reason of a stumble or a simple temptation don’t serve God, but Satan. This will cost you a lot more than admitting the truth and seeking forgiveness. May the reason of your decision be the tears that Jesus shed because of the whips and nails that tore His flesh.

The person who underestimates the capacity of another person to see their evil attitude is committing a big error. Even if they don’t show that they understood the strategy of the accuser, certainly, because they too are human, they noticed how wicked this person has acted. Be honest and leave condemnation, for your confession is not to condemn you, but to take you away from the clutches of the enemy. Those who belong to God don’t deny the truth. Therefore, they are forgiven.

Why stay on the hands of the demon for some years and afterwards, kill yourself to hide such error, if, on Judgment Day, even the intentions of the heart will be revealed? What will you do? Now is the time to assume yourself in Christ and put the devil in his due place – under your feet. God is waiting for your attitude in order to forgive you. Don’t leave your decision for later, for it might be too late.

In Christ, with love

Wonderful and forgiving God! We don’t want to be effortless before failure, closing ourselves to the truth. You know all things, and because of that, we came to confess that we have mistaken and we need mercy and forgiveness.  We didn’t do what is good.

Our soul is greatly troubled. We are here to ask for Your help, forgiveness, and at the same time, strength to seek those we have deceived and ask them to forgive us. We need peace to live and go back to serving You.

We know that Your heart will accept our prayer and will restore us. Therefore, help us to go back to the position of dignity from which we should have never left. You are wonderful and forgiving. In the Name of Jesus, listen to our prayer. Amen!
