Those who think that the Lord came into their lives to take something away are mistaken. In fact, He came to add many gifts to His faithful ones. Jesus declared: If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him! (Matthew 7.11). Therefore, never let the misconceived idea that God wants to take something away from you dwell in your heart. He is always good!
The Most High instructs us about tithes and heave offerings, so that we know that He doesn’t need anything from us. However, He gladly makes His blessing enrich us: The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it (Proverbs 10.22). Whoever is eager to prosper must go to Jesus and, after having gone through the process of salvation, must set his heart on the heavenly promise, and it will be fulfilled (Malachi 3.8-12). Tithers know this very well, don’t they?
Someone may ask, “What does God want from me?” Let’s address that question to the Father, and the answer will be found in the following verse: And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways and to love Him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to keep the commandments of the Lord and His statutes which I command you today for your good? (Deuteronomy 10.12,13). God wants our good, never our harm!
To fear the Lord is to respect Him, but many don’t do this, even though they guarantee they fulfill the divine will. The truth is that they try to do what interests them. Now, those who distrust God’s character – understand nothing about the Being who created us from nothing, making us in His image and likeness. Never allow yourself to be deceived! Respecting the Most High is what everyone must do at all times.
Walking in God’s ways will only do you good, for in them no devil will be found (Isaiah 35.8). In these paths, there is no room for the hellish agents and their cheap tricks. On the holy paths opened by the Lord, the unclean will not enter, nor will hunger, misery and unfaithfulness be seen. Follow the path He points out to you, and you will end your days praising Him for the faithfulness destined for all who receive Him as Father!
To love the Lord is rewarding, and whoever does so – will be loved by Him and His Son, who will manifest Himself to that person. Those who do not give themselves with heart and soul to keep the commandments do not really love God. When you are saved, a holy desire arises within you to know and love Jesus, who gave Himself on Calvary for you and for others. Everything is prepared for those who dedicate themselves to doing good.
It’s good to pay attention to the following sentence: to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul (Deuteronomy 10.12b). So, don’t forget that serving the Father with half your heart and soul is the same as not serving Him. We are faithful to Him when we refuse every temptation, do not walk in sin, nor accept sickness and pain, misery and other evils, which exist because of the transgression committed by Adam!
In Christ, with love,

Lord, Creator and Possessor of all! You surprise us with what is recorded in the Bible. Because You have foreknowledge, You already knew the words Your enemies would say about You, which cause many to withdraw from Your presence. We want to serve You!
Respecting You is the most important thing. Even if there are persecutions, misunderstandings and trials on all sides, we will never fear evil. You go ahead of us and lead us safely to the Last Day, when You will take us to Your eternal Kingdom!
We will walk in Your ways and love You! We will serve You with all our being. Then You will be acknowledged and feared as the One who has saved us from perdition. Father, the lost need to hear from You and accept Your grace!
