You shall have a song As in the night when a holy festival is kept, And gladness of heart as when one goes with a flute, To come into the mountain of the Lord, To the Mighty One of Israel. Isaiah 30: 29

The coming of Jesus into the world was the beginning of the Kingdom of God among us, when there would be no more sorrow or suffering in the midst of humanity. But why is there still so many wrong things going on with the Lord’s people, if He has already defeated Satan and stripped him of the power he possessed over man? Was salvation an incomplete work, in which the devil remained with some power to oppress us, or are we forever saved from his clutches?

The answer is easy to understand as long as it comes through the Holy Spirit. Hosea did not understand why the people of God were being destroyed. Then, when praying in this direction, he heard that the cause was a lack of knowledge (Hosea 4: 6). This is certainly happening in our days. We know that the saved will have afflictions, but this does not mean that they will have to endure lack of financial resources, suffer from diseases etc., but for what Paul called the afflictions of Christ (2 Corinthians 1:5).

Of one thing we can be certain: because we obey the Lord, He will not leave us in the hands of the tormenting spirits. In Scriptures, we find answers to our questions. Deliverance from any oppression comes from knowing the Truth and not from spending hours or days praying. The lack of knowledge causes the devil to oppress the Church, the Body of Christ. To serve God is to seek the Truth and believe in it!

The Lord’s promise made through Isaiah was that there would be a song among us, as it was with Miriam and the other women who, on the other side of the Red Sea, rejoiced because Pharaoh and his soldiers had perished in those waters. The Israelites would be saved forever from the power of that wicked king, who represented Satan. Seek to know the Truth, and your captivity will end thereafter. Halleluiah!

We must chant the song as when a holy feast is being celebrated. Jesus said that He has conquered death and has the keys of Hades and of Death, and that is enough (Revelation 1: 18). Refuse to live your life as people lived before the Savior’s coming. After all, the devil was stripped of his power over man. Believe in the Word of God and experience the benefits of salvation. Do not turn the Good News into a religious message, because it is the perfect law of freedom. Live in it!

We live in times where we must have a gladness of heart, play instruments and sing songs as we ascend the mount of the Most High, the Rock of our salvation. Are we the true Israel of God or not? Yes, that’s why we need to have much more than a religion – we must have continuous and perennial fellowship with the Lord. After all, it was for the freedom that He set us free. So do not accept anything that comes from the enemy, but rebuke everything that comes from him.

Today is the time to obtain one success after another, to see the divine hand healing those who are suffering. Do not think that God only heals pains and simple things. He heals cancer and other so-called incurable diseases. Those who know Him prove this by the way they live!
