Say to God, “How awesome are Your works! Through the greatness of Your power Your enemies shall submit themselves to You.  Psalm 66:3

One of the ways to praise God is to exalt Him for His works.  As we discover that this is one of the best ways to learn from Jesus, we will never leave this “school”.  Nobody grows in faith by praying day and night, but by reading, examining and meditating on the Scriptures, which testify to the Christ.  The Most High does wonderful things in fractions of a second; this is why He is awesome – tremendous.  If we study His deeds our faith will grow in spectacular and amazing ways.

Consider how quickly God heals a pain or removes a cancerous tumor in metastasis, and you will be impacted emotionally.  The Almighty does not need to study anyone’s problem in order to solve it; He does not have to put forth effort to heal or deliver someone, a multitude or all of humanity.  If a stellar body fell out of its place in a galaxy and threatened to destroy the Universe, He could return it in a blink of an eye.

If a doctor had used a medicine to heal you of a sickness, no doubt you would praise and thank him.  However, can we find anyone who has extolled or exalted the Lord for having delivered then from some evil? Ten lepers asked Jesus for mercy, and all were healed.  Nevertheless, only one came back to thank Him. The Master inquired about the nine ungrateful (Luke 17:17)!

We must bless, praise and laud God for what He has done in our favor, for having created the environment we live in or we would not exist.  What would become of us if the Earth did not lean toward the Sun on its north and south axis bringing the seasons of the year and with them the perfect time for planting and harvesting?  Likewise, the heat that stimulates the coupling of animals provides the renewal of the species and the meat that we need for food.

We can also remember and refer to the wind that helps in the pollinating and the seeding of corn, wheat and other grain, besides various benefits that it brings to man, including electrical energy.  In some countries, He maintains the low tides, as in the case of Holland.  Without the wind mills, three fourths of this country would be under water.  It is tremendous to see God’s works, and we should exalt and sing praise to His works and wonders.

While adoring the heavenly Father, be attentive, for you will have the opportunity to render your appreciation and gratefulness for His care in your life.  Therefore, you will learn good lessons with Him such as a small prayer to nullify any evil that may be oppressing you. How great it is to praise Him for His tremendous works in your life (Psalm 147:1).  Do this and be surprised with the results!

The best praise is not just shouting halleluiahs in random ways, but to enter into prayer.  As you feel to be in communion with the Lord, express the admiration that you have for Him.  Consequently, the greatness of the divine power will work in your favor.  Your enemies will be submitted to you with a simple cry.  It is time to grow in faith!

In Christ, with Love,

God, terrific in Your works! We express our gratitude for having created us in Your image and likeness.  We are built of trillions of cells, with singular capacities to join together in order to carry out different functions that make it possible for us to live.

As David inquired, who are we that You would benefit us so greatly? The night’s sleep gives us rest, in order that by morning we can go forth and seek our daily bread and the opportunities to speak of Your love.  You are fantastic!

Without You we are nothing.  We have to know Your pleasant, good and perfect will.  Allow us to know how awesome you are in Your works! Then by the magnitude of Your power, our enemies will be submitted to us.  Amen!
