For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us. 2 Corinthians 1:20

Many people lament that the promises of the Lord are not fulfilled as they wish. We need to go back to the lessons of Jesus, when He stated: If you ask anything in My name, I will do it (John 14.14). He will only carry out that which is asked for according to His Word: Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. (1 John 5.14). But without faith, it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11.6).

The Lord will only give yes to His promises, and not to what we think is pertinent. So, we must examine the Scriptures to obtain biblical faith, through which He will answer us. After we learn something that belongs to us in Christ, or that He has promised us, faith will direct us to claim correctly. However, we must unlearn the “crying” that religious people call prayer and do what the Bible calls the prayer of faith.

This prayer is so important before God that it not only heals but also causes the person who receives it to be forgiven (James 5.15). We need to pay attention to the teachings of Jesus and not be sad if the answer is delayed. Remember: the Lord has no malice or pleasure in seeing us in trouble, while we cry out day and night, with no answer: Yet I do not receive testimony from man, but I say these things that you may be saved (John 5.34).

No matter the number of promises revealed by God; He doesn’t speak anything by chance. They all belong to Him, and in Jesus, they have the yes. So, ordain them to be fulfilled, using the Name of the Lord. Faith is important for the work to be accomplished. The Father answers us only by faith, in the Name of Jesus. Then, after praying, you can trust, for you have been answered (Mark 11.24). The ancients were blessed that way!

When David consulted the Lord, he did so with all his heart. So, when God had spoken, he was soon on his way to battle, because he knew that the Almighty would give him victory. Therefore, he never lost a fight. For many people, it is difficult to act by faith, because throughout their lives, those around them only spoke negatively. David heard this everywhere, but he paid no attention to it. After all, he did in fact trust in the Lord.

If you give credit to what you are allowed to know in the Scriptures, you will soon become someone quite different from everyone around you. Your petitions will be granted, according to the Bible´s guidance. The heroes of the faith became such people. It didn’t matter to them what the people said, but rather – what the Almighty spoke. Start giving the Bible writings the attention they deserve, because they are Heaven´s guidance for the holy people.

In what God declares, you are saved, protected, and guided to act correctly – in the face of the enemy’s actions. Never be overwhelmed by what is “apparently” true. Only the Word is worthy of all credit. By walking in the Light, you will never stumble or make bad decisions. Speaking as the Lord says, you will win the battles.

In Christ, with love,

God of yes and amen! We have in Jesus the yes and the amen to every word of Scripture. So, quicken Your promises, that we may fight with the assurance that we will never be defeated or humiliated in battle!

The glory is Yours, as well as the honor and power. The devil will never shame us nor take away our crown of kings, for that is how we were made for You. We will enter the battles as victors - in faith in Christ. Thank You for loving us, making us Your sons and heirs!

The result of Your help will glorify You! Seeing our success, people will enter the battle with the same purpose and the same faith. All this will magnify You. Man's greatest achievement is to know You and to call You Father. Amen!
